MURDER USA Norfolk Police identify homicide victim from C Avenue;
Two juveniles arrested for the death of 15-year-old
NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives have identified the man found shot and killed outside his home Wednesday, March 21, 2018, as 52-year-old William James White Jr.
Shortly after 9:35 a.m., police were dispatched to the 700 block of C Avenue for a gunshot disturbance. When officers arrived, they found William J. White, of Norfolk, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Police have not released the circumstances surrounding his death; however, they ask anyone with information to contact the Norfolk Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or submit a tip through the P3 mobile app.
Two juveniles arrested for the death of 15-year-old
NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives have apprehended two juveniles in connection with the city’s 8th homicide this year.
On March 19, 2018, Norfolk Police report that officers responded to a residence in the 1600 block of Corprew Avenue for a 15-year-old who was found unresponsive and not breathing. Medics pronounced the teen dead at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, one juvenile has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder; a second juvenile was charged with accessory after the fact.
Both juveniles are being held at Norfolk Detention Home.
Police have not released any other details surrounding this investigation.
