PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. – Maryland State Police report that on March 23, 2018, at 5:49 pm, Corporal Esnes stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Auto Drive in Prince Frederick.

Trooper First Class Matthews arrived to assist.  A strong odor of raw marijuana was emitting from within the interior of the vehicle.  Curtis E. Brent, 26 of Prince Frederick was found to be in possession of over 10 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  Brent was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

SOLOMON’S MD. – The first sign of spring and already the river rats are out on the rivers and creeks seeking to steal engines and other boating equipment.

Police say that on March 26, 2018, at 12:13 am, Trooper First Class Palumbo responded to the Holiday Inn in Solomon’s for a reported burglary and destruction of property.  An off-duty trooper working secondary employment reported observing Joseph A. Watson, 26, of 1050 Carson, Drive, Huntingtown, Md., attempt to remove an outboard engine from a boat at the marina on Back Creek located behind the hotel.

TFC Palumbo continued the investigation and found while attempting to remove the engine, Watson had caused scratches to the engine.  Watson was arrested for the attempted burglary and destruction of property.  He was transported for incarceration at the Calvert County Detention Center.  Police say that a secondary search at the Calvert Jail revealed possession of Suboxone.

Watson was released on an unsecured bond of $3,000 on March 24, 2018, allowing him to be back on the rivers and creeks for more expeditions allegedly stealing boat engines. Taxpayers will be thrilled to know that Watson won’t have to use any possible ill-gotten gains from any criminal activity to pay for a lawyer, as he will be represented by a free attorney from the Public Defender.

Trooper’s probe led to burglary charges for Heathen Joseph A. Watson

Maryland State Police reported that on Oct. 20, 2013, at 7:27 am, Trooper First Class Lewis responded to the Calvert Christian Fellowship Church in Huntingtown for a reported burglary. The church was broken into, and numerous items were stolen. Based on the Trooper’s investigation, Joseph A. Watson, 22 of Huntingtown, and Shaye L. Beal, 20 of Prince Frederick, were both arrested and charged. They were incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.

Readers should remember that the Alice In Wonderland Maryland Judiciary is impossible to explain or be held accountable for continually allowing druggie burglars to prey on the citizenry instead of keeping them in jail or tied to a Gibbets at low tide and allow vultures to feast on their lame and dying carcass.

In a plea deal on May 22, 2015, when a sentence modification was accomplished out of the sight of the public, between the Judge, and with Calvert County States Attorney Laura Martin, Watson entered a guilty plea to breaking into the church and stealing various items, along with busting up the church, as the plea was to Malicious Property Destruction over $1,000. THE DEAL: the burglary charge was dropped and a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with no fine and no time.

Watson was also arrested by Calvert Deputy S. Jernigan on Sept. 26, 2013, on three charges of burglary, theft, and property destruction which charges were later included in a Grand Jury Indictment and then merged with his other burglary charges, all of which ended in zero jail time or fine.

Watson’s debut into a life of burglary began on May 23, 2010, when he was arrested by Dorchester County Sheriff Deputy Christopher Tolley on charges of theft. In Dorchester District Court on Aug. 23, 2010, Watson was given a plea deal. THE DEAL: Probation Before Judgement with a fine of $442.50 and unsupervised probation.  Jeffrey Lee Harding, an attorney with Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher in Upper Marlboro worked this deal for Watson with the prosecutor.
