LANGLEY PARK, MD. – PG County ended the first quarter of 2018 with yet another slaying in the land of the Bat, the Bullet, and the Blade.

Prince Georges Police reports that the county’s Homicide Unit detectives are actively investigating a fatal stabbing in Langley Park. The victim is 29-year-old Enrique Jacinto Miguel of the 1400 block of 14th Avenue in Langley Park. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

Police say that on March 31st, shortly before 3:00 pm, patrol officers responded to the 1400 block of University Boulevard for a welfare check. When they arrived on the scene, officers found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and establish a motive.
