ANNE ARUNDEL POLICE BEAT / Furnace Branch Road shooting victim likely to live but has a bad attitude when it comes to fingering his assailant

GLEN BURNIE, MD. – Anne Arundel Police say that a man suffering from gunfire and was delivered to a hospital by a friend is not likely to die from his wounds.

When officers arrived, they learned that the victim had been driven by an acquaintance to Baltimore Washington Medical Center prior to first responders arriving. Additional officers then responded to Baltimore Washington Medical Center where they located the 22-year-old male victim who had been shot in the upper body and leg.

When officers attempted to interview the victim he became uncooperative and refused to provide any information regarding the incident. He was later transported as a precaution to Maryland Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries.

At this time, investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and not a random act. Any person with any information is encouraged to call the Northern District Detective Unit at 410-222-6135 or 410-222-8610.
