FUGITIVE WANTED;

WOODBRIDGE, VA. – Cats like Christopher Gillette put the Hood in Hoodbridge.

Prince William Police say that on March 13, 2018, at 2:50 AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3200 block of Ridge View Ct. in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 32-year-old woman of Woodbridge, was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, which escalated.

Police say that during the encounter, the victim asked the accused to leave her apartment. The accused exited the apartment and the victim locked the front door.

A short time later, the accused began knocking on the door. When the victim refused to open the door, the accused kicked it open. As the victim was calling the police, the accused attempted to take her cell phone. Police say that Gillette then grabbed the victim by the hair pulled her to the ground and choked her.

The parties eventually separated, perhaps ready to come out swinging, as this is a woman that needs to buy a handgun and learn how to use it to defend herself.

Police say that the accused fled the apartment prior to officers arriving. Minor injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, a detective with the Property Crimes Unit obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Christopher Maurice GILLETTE. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Assad Ali Ashfaq charged with rape and keeping family member prisoner

WOODBRIDGE, VA.  – Prince William County Police report that on March 10 at 4:20 PM, detectives began an investigation concerning an ongoing domestic assault that occurred at a residence located in the 12000 block of Tango Lane in Woodbridge, Va.

Police report that the investigation revealed that the victim, a 31-year-old woman, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a family member. The accused also took the victim’s phone and personal documents. Following the investigation, detectives arrested the accused, identified as Assad Ali ASHFAQ, without incident.

Police say that Assad Ali ASHFAQ, 30, of Tango Lane in Woodbridge was charged with forcible sodomy, abduction, and domestic assault & battery.

TRIANGLE, VA. – Prince William County Police made an arrest in the case of a masked man attacking a mother and her child. Police say that on March 4 at 11:23 AM, officers responded to the Linden Park Apartments located in the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle, Va., to investigate a stabbing. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 33-year-old woman, was walking in the hallway of one of the apartment buildings when she was approached by a man wearing a mask.

Police say that during the encounter, the suspect pushed the victim’s 12-year-old son then proceeded to stab the victim multiple times with a knife. The suspect eventually fled the area on foot and the police were contacted. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that Officers determined that the suspect was an acquaintance of the victim and obtained multiple arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Donte Vashaun STOUTAMIRE. On March 11, 2018, the accused was located and arrested in Arlington.
