EASTON, MD. – The Maryland State Police Easton Barrack Commander reports that troopers made the following drunk driving arrests.  Police say that there are currently several open investigations pending for additional charges for driving under the influence of alcohol, therefore if you are someone you know was driving while intoxicated and the name does not appear on this list, be assured that there may be a chance to join the DWI HIT PARADE in the near future.

On April 1, 2018, police report that citizens contacted the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack regarding a possible drunk driver traveling on Rt. 50 in Cambridge. The vehicle was located and Ryan Romeo Lynn, 33, of 204 E. Alta Ave., Altoona, Pennsylvania, was arrested by Trooper Robert Angeli for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Cambridge, Md.

  • Lynn was arrested for DUI on Aug. 8, 2017, for DUI by Trooper Moore of the Berlin Barrack while driving a 2017 Ford F250 on Rt. 50 at the Harry Kelley Bridge, failed to appear in court on Feb. 5, 2018. Lynn was taken before a court commissioner and released on a $10,000.00 bond.

 

Maryland State Police report that on April 3, 2018, Troopers responded to a hit and run traffic collision in Caroline County. The driver that fled the scene of the accident was Crystal Lynn Minor, 37, of 10265 Alms House Road, Denton, Md. Police report that she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol by Trooper Dirk Meekins as she operated a 2005 Envoy on Rt. 328 at Blackdog Alley at 8:59 pm. She was released pending a court date.

  • Minor was recently charged with second-degree assault and on Sept. 30, 2015, entered a guilty plea to reckless endangerment, resulting in a verdict of Guilty Before Judgement.
  • On Feb. 10, 2014, a DWI charge filed by Trooper Michael Reuschling filed in Caroline County District Court was dropped by Caroline County States Attorney.
  • Minor entered a guilty plea in Dorchester County District Court to driving a vehicle without insurance on Dec. 10, 2008.

April 6, 2018, Morgan Erin Civita, 23, of 2431 Fords Corner Road, Hartley, Del., was arrested by Maryland Tpr. Sean Glover for driving under the influence of alcohol on Henderson Road at Bee Tree Road and cited for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams after a traffic stop in Henderson, Md. She was released pending a court date.

April 7, 2018, Emilio Lopez, 30, of 38 S. Aurora Street, Apt. B., Easton, Md., was arrested by Tpr. Mingos, for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Easton, Md. He was seen by a court commissioner and held without bond. Lopez was cited by Federalsburg Police Officer Brian McNeill for providing a false name to a police officer, driving without a drivers permit, and negligent driving.

April 8, 2018, Travis Maurice (Reese) Stafford, 43, of 6 Caroline Ave., Ridgely, Md., was arrested by Trooper C. Short, for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Easton, Md. Stafford was operating a 1999 Ford F250 on Rt. 328 at Turkey Creek Road at 1:28 am.

  • Attorney Stephanie Shipley represented Stafford on his prior DWI arrest on Dec. 8, 2008, in District Court in Caroline County. Travis was arrested by Maryland Trooper John Labelle while operating a 1996 Toyota on Oakland Road prior to Sparks Road in Caroline County. In a plea deal, Travis got a verdict of Probation Before Judgement on Feb. 9, 2009. With no time and fine of $192.50, his attorney got him a great deal.

April 8, 2018, at 1:52 am, Brian David MaCrae, 41, of 6745 Roberts Ave., Dundalk, Md., was arrested by Trooper Robert Angeli for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop while he operated a 2014 Ram on Rt. 16 at Indian Creek Road, in East New Market, Md.

April 8, 2018, Joseph Norman Kukta, 42, of 33167 Forest Knoll Drive, Laurel, Del., was arrested by Tpr. Myers for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Hurlock, Md., as he operated a 1970 Ford Bronco on Rt. 331 at Maiden Branch Road. Kukta is represented by attorney Stephanie Shipley of Easton. A trial is set in Dorchester District Court on May 22, 2018.

April 12, 2018, Citizens contacted the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack regarding a possible drunk driver in Preston, Md. Troopers located the vehicle, the driver was identified as Davian Elijah Albury, 20 of Delaware, and was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams. The passenger identified as Desmonee Dashae Jacobs, 20 of Delaware, was issued a civil citation for possession of an opened alcohol beverage in the vehicle. Both were released pending a court date.

April 12, 2018, Eric Scott McMichael, 37 of Denton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on his motorcycle in Easton, Md.

April 13, 2018, Dana Nicole Price, 31 of Greensboro, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Greensboro, Md.

April 14, 2018, Jacob John Tubman, 27 of Easton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in St, Michaels, Md.

April 14, 2018, Linwood Ronnell Sampson, 37 of Easton, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams after a traffic stop in St, Michaels, Md.

April 15, 2018, Christina Nicole Fenwick, 34 of Virginia, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Easton, Md.

April 15, 2018, Charles Irvin Dobson, 61 of Hurlock, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Cambridge, Md.

April 15, 2018, Jenahan Ryan Schemenant, 31 of Chestertown, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop in Preston, Md.
