Cole N Williams took his infant on a Mad Meth Maryland Memory on Rt. 50 at rush hour in Annapolis Maryland State Trooper Barbiche

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Will an infant learn anything from being tossed in the car and taken for a joyride on a busy highway in the middle of afternoon rush hour?  The baby just might later learn in life that this adult who was behind the wheel was high on meth, had his driver’s license suspended in West Virginia and that a Maryland State Trooper busted the bozo for allegedly being DWI on drugs. Should this infant survive the lunatic who was behind the wheel that day in 2018, he just might learn that he is related to the bum.

Maryland State Police report that on April 17, 2018, at approximately 3:37 pm, Maryland State Trooper Barbiche was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of U.S. Route 50 and MD Route 665 and observed a silver Chevrolet Sonic displaying expired registration plates.

Trooper Barbiche initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Cole Nicholas Williams, 25, of 17145 Deep Water Mountain Road, Mount Carbon, West Virginia.

Maryland State Police report that while making contact with Williams, Trooper Barbiche observed signs of impairment. Sobriety tests revealed Williams was unable to operate the vehicle safely and was placed under arrest for driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance.

Trooper Barbiche found methamphetamine in the vehicle along with an infant in the back seat.

Furthermore, Trooper Barbiche learned Williams’ driver’s license was suspended and expired through West Virginia. Williams was transported to the Annapolis Barrack for processing.

Williams was charged with the following: possession of a controlled dangerous substance methamphetamine, driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance, driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance while transporting a minor, driving a motor vehicle on a suspended out-of-state license, driving a motor vehicle with an expired license, failure to display a driver’s license to a uniformed officer, driving a motor vehicle displaying expired registration plates, negligent driving, reckless driving and driving a vehicle so far impaired by drugs the operator cannot drive the vehicle safely. Williams was transported to the Anne Arundel County Commissioner’s Office where he was held on $5,000 bail.

On April 18, 2018, the bail was posted, and Williams was released until his court date on July 2, 2018. Maryland taxpayers will be delighted to learn that they will be footing the bill for his free attorney from the public defender’s office.
