DWI HIT PARADE Maryland State Police North East Barrack May 2018 DUI Arrests
NORTH EAST, MD-The Maryland State Police is committed to reducing impaired driving and preventing alcohol/drug-related accidents. The North East Barrack’s aggressive stance resulted in over 925 traffic stops in May 2018, with 32 of those stops leading to arrests of impaired drivers. Some of the investigations relating to impaired driving remain open and may not be included in this list of the North East Barrack’s DUI arrests for May:

(North East) – Brandy Lynn Sheets, 38 YOA, Rising Sun, MD
(Elkton) – David B. Robinson, 45 YOA, Perryville, MD
(Elkton) – Anthony Robert Trueman,
Anthony Robert Trueman, 27, of 22 Hickory Drive, North East, Md., charged with driving while impaired by drugs by Trooper Sean Koontz on May 4, 2018. On April 27, 2018, Trueman entered a guilty plea to driving without a permit and four other traffic charges were dropped. In the Plea Deal with the Cecil County States Attorney, Trueman was sentenced to 60 days in jail with 58 days suspended. On Feb. 26, 2018, Trueman was given a year’s unsupervised probation on another arrest for driving without a permit. On Sept. 4, 2014, the Cecil County States Attorney gave Trueman a plea deal for driving without a permit and a verdict of Probation Before Judgement and a fine of $92.50 following his arrest by North East Police Officer Michael Hickey.
