BALTIMORE, MD. – Baltimore Police report more murders on the streets, alleys, and byways of the dangerous and deadly city as the homicide rate reaches over 126 homicides thus far in 2018.

According to Baltimore Police, on June 16, 2018, at approximately 12:45 pm, officers were called to the 1000 block of N. Payson Street for a complaint. When officers arrived, they found what was believed to be the skeletal remains of a person. Homicide Detectives and the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and started an investigation.

Police say that on June 17, 2018, the Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide by shooting.

“Hello, this is Sam’s Morgue, You Stab ‘Em, We’ll Slab ‘Em”

Baltimore Police say that on June 17, 2018, at approximately 7:40 pm, officers were called to the 4200 block of Thayer Court for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a 41-year old man with stab wounds to his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Just winged in the shoulder

On June 17, 2018, at approximately 4:25 pm, officers were called to the 1600 block of Montpelier Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 30-year old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

 

#124 – Valley Street Murder

On June 16, 2018, at approximately 11:00 pm, officers were called to the 900 block of Valley Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 27-year old man with gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

#125 and #126 Double Dose of Death When Bullets Hit Their Mark

Baltimore Police report that two were killed by gunfire on June 16, 2018, at approximately 11:10 pm, officers were called to the 3900 block of Edmondson Avenue for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two shooting victims.

The first victim is a 37-year old man. The second victim is a 21-year old woman. Both victims were transported to area hospitals where they died from their injuries.

Apparently, the constant flow of residents from the City of Baltimore has yet to reach a tidal wave of scared and frightened people running for their lives. On June 16, 2018, at approximately 11:30 pm, officers were on patrol when they found a shooting victim in the 2500 block of Harford Road. The victim, a 19-year old man, was suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Baltimore City Police report that on June 17, 2018, at approximately 2:00 am, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 31-year old woman with a gunshot wound to her arm.

Investigators believe the shooting took place in the area of Howard and Preston Street. The victim was involved in a dispute just before the shooting took place.

Police say that on June 16, 2018, at approximately 3:30 pm, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 22-year old man with a gunshot wound to his hand.

Police say that they have figured out what happened on June 16, 2018, at approximately 1:10 am when officers were called to the 1700 block of W. North Avenue for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 38-year old man with a gunshot wound to his body. He was transported to a hospital for treatment.

A short time later, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 44-year old man being treated for a gunshot wound to his foot.

Investigators believe both victims were in the 1700 block of W. North Avenue when they were shot.

Police say that on June 16, 2018, at approximately 1:15 am, officers were called to the 1000 block of Stoddard Court for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 44-year old woman with a gunshot wound to her upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Christopher Rather Arrested for First Degree Murder

Police report that they have made an arrest in the case of the body that was located in the 2400 block of Westfield Avenue on June 12, 2018, and that detectives have arrested 22-year-old Christopher Rather of 6623 Knottwood Court, Baltimore, Md.

Christopher Rather was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with 1st and 2nd-degree murder, 1st and 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Rather apparently would rather start at the top of the scale of crime as his criminal record in Maryland was devoid of other arrests prior to this one, at least he hadn’t been charged with any other crimes. Rather will appear for a preliminary hearing on July 10, 2018, in Baltimore City District Court.

 

Life left this body not long before noon when killer blasted away

The politicians are out in force in Baltimore, including the less than stellar States Attorney Marilyn Mosby, all preaching to voters why they should be elected. It’s one big Clown Show. Police say that on June 12, 2018, at approximately 11:15 am, officers were called to the rear of the 2400 block of Westfield Avenue for a report of an unconscious person. When officers arrived, they found a person not breathing at that location. The person was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Baltimore Police report that on June 14, 2018, at approximately 5:45 pm, officers were called to the rear of the 1100 block of N. Fremont Avenue for a report of a person not breathing. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his body. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police say that on June 13, 2018, at approximately 12:45 pm, officers were called to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. When officers arrived, they found a 42-year old man with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Attempted Murder Charge for Demetrius Thompson

Baltimore Police report that they have located and charted Demetrius Thompson with attempted murder on June 13, 2018. Police say that he approached a woman in the Unit Block of Light Street in Baltimore, Md., on June 8, 2018, at about 6 am and shot her in the face and fled.

Thompson, of Chelsea Terrace, Baltimore, is charged in the non-fatal shooting which left the woman in stable condition in a hospital.

 

#122 – Drug Dealer Terry Henderson murdered on McElderry Street

Another of Baltimore’s career criminals has met his end in the killing fields of Charm City. Baltimore City Police have identified the murder victim of a shooting on June 13, 2018, at 1:13 am as Terry Wallace Henderson, also known as “Corey Vines” of 304 South Herring Court in Baltimore, Md. The cops say they are still looking for his killer and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.

Henderson was active in the Baltimore City drug trade, having graduated to using a firearm in his drug business in violation of the law forbidding convicted felons from possessing guns.  Charges of drug trafficking with guns in his possession were dropped by Baltimore City States Attorney Marilyn Mosby on May 2, 2014, in Baltimore City Circuit Court.

Henderson entered a guilty plea to an armed robbery on June 11, 2010, and was sentenced to ten years in prison but, in the land of Maryland’s Alice in Wonderland Judiciary, eight years and six months of the sentence was suspended. He was given three years of probation and now he’ll be discussing the details of his criminal career with the Devil down in Georgia.

Two Murder Victims Identified

Baltimore Police report that in the case of the homicide that occurred on June 11, 2018, in the 4800 block of Pimlico Road, the victim has been identified as 29-year-old Allison Henn (W/F) of the 9300 block of Montego Avenue.

In the case of the homicide that occurred on June 11, 2018, in the 100 block of North Fremont Avenue, the victim has been identified as 29-year-old Kataya Nelson (B/F) of the 2700 block of Ellicott Drive.
