RESTON, VA. – NARCOTICS VIOLATION: 12000 block of Glade Drive, 6/20/2018, 6:35 pm. Fairfax Police report that bike team officers saw a known drug dealer who ran away once he saw the officers. They quickly caught up to the man who was wearing a backpack that smelled like marijuana. A search revealed almost two ounces of marijuana and a significant amount of cash. Tavarius Lee, 20 of Reston, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

SEVEN CORNERS, VA. Fairfax Police report the robbery of a store and the assault of a customer in a business located in the once nice part of town at 6100 Block of Arlington Blvd, on June 17, 2018, at 10:15 p.m.
Police say that an employee was working a cash register when a man entered the business wearing a mask. He implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The suspect didn’t get any money from that register and moved to another register where a customer was paying for items. The man punched the customer in the face and took cash from the open register. The suspect left the area on foot.

MOUNT VERNON, VA. – UNLAWFUL ENTRY: While Virginia politicians proclaim that illegal aliens should be allowed to break into the United States and live for free, Fairfax County Police have arrested a Richmond man for doing the exact same thing in a Mount Vernon area home. Fairfax Police report that in the 14600 block of Woodspring Ct, June 21, 2018, at 7:10 pm a victim arrived at his vacant rental property to clean the premises. He found someone to be sleeping in the property and immediately exited to call Police. Fairfax officers searched the home and found 26-year-old Shaun Gambrell of Richmond. The man was arrested and charged with unlawfully entering the property of another.

FRANCONIA, VA. – STOLEN AUTO W/APPREHENSION: 7000 block of Skyles Way, June 21, 2018, at 9:30 pm. Fairfax Police officers responded to a hit and run in a parking lot. The vehicle, driver, and passenger were located in the parking lot. The driver, Darling Lozano Lopez, 19-year-old of Springfield, was found to be intoxicated and placed under arrest for DUI, hit and run, drinking while driving, and driving without a license. The vehicle was found to be stolen. The passenger admitted the vehicle was his and Yosli Menjivar Hernandez, 23-year-old from Springfield, was charged with auto theft and false identity to police.
