MURDER USA Jhareed Ayers wanted for blasting shotgun at three people
LEWES, DEL. – A man wanted for attempting to kill three people with a shotgun is being sought by Delaware State Police.
Delaware State Police are investigating shots fired complaint and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect who is wanted in connection.
The incident occurred on Monday, June 25, 2018, at approximately 3:58 p.m. when Troopers were dispatched to the 30000 block of Pine Town Road for a shots fired complaint. Upon arrival, it was discovered that 18-year-old Jhareed Ayers of Lewes had fired one round from a sawed-off shotgun at his three nephews, two 17-year-olds and one 13-year-old, who was standing outside of the residence. Also in the area when this incident occurred where three bystanders, ages 9, 63 and 70. Further investigation revealed that there is ongoing issues between Ayers and his nephews. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Prior to the Troopers arrival, Ayers had fled the area on foot. Troopers have been unable to located Ayers who is currently wanted for six counts of Reckless Endangering Second Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm within 10 Years of a Prior Felony Conviction, and Possession of Ammunition By a Person Prohibited.
