MURDER USA: Ryan Holden sentenced to life without parole for murder during home invasion; new charges of juror intimidation filed
SALISBURY, MD. – On June 10, 2017, Ryan Christopher Holden arrived at the door of a residence located at Middleneck Drive in Salisbury, Md., and when Anthony Cropper, 57, answered the door, Holden shot him to death. Holden and his two cohorts, John Schoolfield and Courtlen Coston, 19, were at the home to rob the residents – in a home invasion.
Maryland State Police investigators Detective Sgt. Kyle Clark along with Salisbury Police Detective Cpl. Brandon Caton brought the case to a close with the arrest of the three and the prosecutors worked to conclude the charges with the conviction on July 18, 2018. Wicomico States Attorney Jamie L. Dykes said that the law enforcement in Wicomico County is working hard to ensure your safety and secure justice for victims and offenders.
Schoolfield and Coston entered guilty pleas. Coston was sentenced on June 1, 2018, by Circuit Court Judge S. James Sarbanes to 20 years in prison for armed robbery and 5 years in prison for illegal possession of a regulated firearm following Coston
entering an Alford Plea.
HOLDEN CHARGED WITH INTIMIDATION OF JUROR!
Not happy with a pending murder rap, this bozo tried to get off by intimidating a member of the jury, allege prosecutors.
Ryan Christopher Holden, currently a resident of the Wicomico County Jail in Salisbury, Md., was charged by criminal information by the Wicomico County States Attorney Jamie Dykes with four counts of juror tampering on July 18, 2018.
Two felony criminal charges include soliciting for the purpose of intimidating a juror, as well as two misdemeanor charges of attempting to intimidate a member of a jury.
The sentence handed down by Circuit Court Judge D. William Simpson followed his conviction of attempted armed robbery and use of a handgun, along with first-degree murder.

SALISBURY, MD. – Murray will now see how tough he is when he goes to the Maryland prison which is populated by other violent criminals. Murray was sentenced on July 5, 2017, to life without parole for robbery and first-degree murder of Tavin Molock that took place on July 30, 1017. Murray was previously found guilty by a Wicomico County jury on twenty-two counts associated with the murder.
States Attorney Dykes called the slaying a “…brutal and senseless act by a mob of violent criminals bent on executing their own sentence on Mr. Molock.”
Molock was besieged by Murray and other nimrods as he walked in the area of Bethel and Roger Streets in Salisbury when he was robbed and assaulted by them. He later died from injuries suffered during the attack.
Convicted on Feb. 28, 2018, by a Wicomico County Circuit Court Jury, Edward Tyrone Winder, 25, of Salisbury, Md., was sentenced to life in prison on May 3, 2018, by Circuit Court Judge Kathleen Beckstead for his role in the murder of Molock.
The murder was solved by the work of investigators Sgt. Kyle Clark of the Maryland State Police and Salisbury Police Detective Foy.
Salisbury Police and Maryland State Police Homicide Unit detectives closed the case and were commended by Wicomico States Attorney Jamie Dykes. Dykes called the slaying a “…brutal and senseless act by a mob of violent criminals bent on executing their own sentence on Mr. Molock.”
