Tiffany Johnson – The Case of the Wild Woman of Rt. 2 After DWI Arrest

DWI HIT PARADE – The Case of the Wild Tiffany Johnson Breaking Windshield

REPEAT OFFENDER: ANNAPOLIS, MD – According to Annapolis Barrack Commander Lt. T. Quade, on July 28, 2018, at 2:48 am, Senior Trooper Turpin responded to the scene of a crash of a 1998 Ford Expedition on Maryland Route 2 (Ritchie Highway) at U.S. Route 50. The trooper made contact with the at-fault driver who was identified as Tiffany Renee Johnson, 33, of 344 Forest Beach Road, Annapolis, Maryland.
Apparently, Johnson reeked of booze instead of an exotic perfume, such as Rose of Boone’s Farm or Tequila Mama or even Skunk Cabbage Delight.  Nope, it was just cheap booze.
Johnson refused to perform all field sobriety tests recommended to her by Trooper Turpin.
Due to her impairment, Johnson was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and placed in the front passenger seat of Senior Trooper Turpin’s patrol vehicle.
This is when Johnson decided to show her real intoxication level and began to kick out the windshield of the police car before Senior Trooper Turpin could get around to the driver’s side of his patrol vehicle.
Police say that Johnson began kicking the front windshield causing it to partially shatter.
Police say that Johnson was transported to the Annapolis Barrack for initial processing and refused to submit to any further tests; thus, she was charged with several traffic violations including driving under the influence of alcohol and charged criminally with malicious destruction of property under $1,000.
She was transported to the Anne Arundel County Commissioner’s Office where she was released on her own recognizance where the Maryland Judiciary now releases just about anyone for any crime regardless of their intoxication level or the seriousness of the crime. Taxpayers across Maryland will be overjoyed to learn that they will be paying for the free lawyer for this alleged boozing yahoo when she appears in Annapolis District Court on Nov. 9, 2018.
In a plea deal in Baltimore County District Court on June 19, 2013, when charged with DUI, Johnson was given Probation Before Judgement and fined $250.
