Somerset County Sheriff Police Beat: Arrests, warrants, and DUI in June and July 2018

David Martin Brickwood Jr., of Pocomoke, arrested 7-24-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Brickwood was held without bond.

Malik Clodis Smith, of Glen Burnie, arrested 7-27-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Smith was held without bond.

Dennis Lamont Daniels, of Cambridge, arrested 7-27-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Daniels was held without bond.

Kenneth Leon Collins, of Princess Anne, arrested 7-29-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Collins was held on a $1,000 bond.

Herbert Russell Dashiell, of Salisbury, arrested 7-30-18 and charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving while Impaired by Alcohol, Negligent Driving, Failure to Drive Right of Center and Failing to Reduce Speed to Avoid a Collision. Dashiell was released on citations pending court action. Deputies were called to the area of Sign Post Rd in Westover regarding a dump truck accident. Deputies later discovered that Dashiell was under the influence of alcohol while operating the dump truck.

Barry Dale Lowe Jr., of Princess Anne, arrested 6-19-18 for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, driving while Impaired by Alcohol and Driving while Impaired by Alcohol and or Drugs. Lowe was released on citations pending court action. Deputies were investigating a disabled vehicle in the area of Fairmount Rd and Water’s Farm Rd when they came into contact with Lowe who was operating a pickup truck, coming to assist the driver of the disabled vehicle.

Thomas Edward Hall, of Crisfield, arrested 7-7-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Hall was held without bond.

Keshawn Terrell Kellam, of Parksley, Virginia, arrested 7-8-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Kellam was held without bond.

Kavon Lamar Collins, of Westover, criminal summons served on 7-9-18 for 2nd Degree Assault and Trespass. Collins was released on signature pending court action.

Victoria Lillian Davis, of Crisfield, arrested 7-9-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Davis was held without bond.

Darron Vertell White, of Salisbury, arrested 7-13-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. White was held without bond.

Taylor Michelle Courson, of Crisfield, arrested 7-13-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Courson was held on a $250.00 bond.

Edwin David Horner 3rd, of Salisbury, arrested 7-13-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Horner was held without bond.

Carla Ann Renee Ruf, of Westover, arrested 5-28-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Ruf was held without bond.

Tavon Antonio Conner, of Baltimore, arrested 6-6-18 on a warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order. Conner was held without bond.

Angela Faith Diggs, of Crisfield, criminal summons served 6-8-18 for 2nd Degree Assault. Diggs was released on signature pending court action.

Carla Anne Renee Ruf, of Westover, arrested 6-8-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Ruf was released on personal recognizance.

Albert Lybrant Christopher, of Princess Anne, arrested 6-8-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Christopher was held without bond.

Nicholas Scott Vetra, of Princess Anne, arrested 6-10-18 on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court. Vetra was released on personal recognizance.

Kalin Danae Williams, of Princess Anne, arrested 6-15-18 on a warrant for Violation of Probation. Williams was held without bond.

Barry Dale Lowe Jr., of Westover, arrested 6-19-18 for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving while Impaired by Alcohol and Driving while Impaired by Drugs and/or Alcohol. Lowe was released on citation pending court action. The arrest was the result of a disabled vehicle investigation in the area of Fairmount Rd, near Waters Farm Rd.

Joshua Alexander Thompson, of Virginia Beach, arrested 6-19-18 for Possession of Marijuana over 10 grams and speeding. Thompson was released on citations pending court action. The arrest was the result of a traffic stop conducted by Deputies in the area of Ocean Highway and Curtis Chapel Rd, where Deputies later recovered an estimated 38 grams of suspected marijuana after a probable cause search of the vehicle.

The Somerset County Sheriff’s Department once again conducted alcohol compliance checks on June 25th at area businesses.

Somerset Co. Liquor Dispensary (Princess Anne Pocomoke)

Pocomoke River Market (Pocomoke)

King’s Creek Market (Princess Anne)

Eden One Stop (Eden)

Junior’s Wines (Princess Anne)

Two businesses were found to be non-compliant:

Dash-In (Westover)

Lucky’s Store (Chance)

Charges have been filed and served on the employees at each location.
