CAROLINE SHERIFF POLICE BEAT: Sheriff Randy Bounds announced the debut of four new Deputies:

Deputy First Class (DFC) Eric Lee: DFC Lee was a police officer at an allied agency and came to the Sheriff’s Office with 20 years’ experience in police work. DFC Lee is a certified accident reconstructionist and a prior service Marine. DFC Lee is also active in the community with little league sports as a coach. DFC Lee is currently assigned to the Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy First Class (DFC) Michael Stivers: DFC Stivers was a police officer for several years at an allied agency in the region prior to coming to the Sheriff’s Office. DFC Stivers is a prior service Army National GuardMilitary Police Officer and has served overseas in his military role. DFC Stivers currently is assigned to the Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Sheriff Conner Cooper: Deputy Cooper had graduated from the Police Academy this past December and has been assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division. Deputy Cooper holds a BS Degree from Frostburg State University and is a volunteer assistant coach for North Caroline High School Junior Varsity Baseball Team.

Deputy Sheriff Lucas Nagel: Deputy Nagel had graduated from the Police Academy this past December and has been assigned to the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division.  Deputy Nagel is currently in the National Guard as Military Police Officer and has served overseas in Guantanamo Bay Cuba.
