Timeline:
The suspect was identified as Snochia Moseley, 26-year-old female / male / transvestite  from Baltimore County. On the day of the shooting, she arrived at the warehouse for her shift at 6:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, she left the building at 7:21 a.m. and returned home. She then drove back to work and arrived at the front gate at 8:35 a.m. She reentered the warehouse at 8:53 a.m., exited the warehouse again at 9:05 a.m. and began shooting. She shot one victim outside before entering back into the warehouse where she continued to fire, striking the remaining victims. She turned the gun on herself and shot herself in the head. She later died at the hospital. During the investigation, information was received that she was suffering from a mental illness and over the last two weeks had become increasingly agitated.

The handgun used in the attack was legally purchased.

“We learned again yesterday, that no community is immune from this type of heinous violence,” Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler said in a press conference Friday morning. “Harford County overall is a very safe place to live and work, citizens should feel confident their law enforcement professionals are well trained and prepared to maintain the safety of our community members.”
