DOVER POLICE BEAT: Mexican sought in rape of a six-year-old girl

DOVER, DEL. – Dover Police report that they are looking for Juan Carlos Hernandez, 33, for the alleged rape of a child in March of 2011. The rape was revealed when the victim disclosed the information to a school therapist.

Dover Police spokesman, M/Cpl. Mark Hoffman reports that Dover Police Detectives have obtained a warrant for 2^nd-Degree Rape for Hernandez, who police believe has returned to Mexico.

Battling Bozos Busted After Fight

The Dover Police Department arrested 22-year-old Marquis Harris of Dover, DE for the shooting of two people at a party on September 8th.  Detectives developed Harris as a suspect in the incident and on October 2nd, members of the 1st State Fugitive Task Force arrested Harris in the 300 block of East Commerce Street in Smyrna, DE without incident.  Harris was committed to SCI in default of $81,000 cash bond on the following charges:

–Assault 1st Degree (2x)

-Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony

–Reckless Endangering 1st Degree

–Criminal Mischief
