DWI HIT PARADE: Wild West Wahoo Jesse James Taylor charged with drive-by shooting and DUI
LEONARDTOWN, MD. – Leonardtown, otherwise known as the ‘Walled City’, is on the fast track to becoming as lawless as Lexington Park, otherwise known as ‘Sin City’.
St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on October 4, 2018, deputies from the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to 22246 ARCHER ST, Leonardtown, for the reported assault. Two victims advised deputies a blue van with a white male operator drove past the area while they were outside and discharged a firearm. The victims advised the operator of the vehicle extended his arm outside the vehicle while holding a firearm and discharged the weapon.
Police say that while deputies were on scene conducting the investigation, the suspect vehicle cruised by again, drawing a swarm of squad cars in pursuit. Deputies quickly nabbed the bozomobile and found Jesse James Taylor was the operator.
Sheriff Deputies apprehended Taylor and reportedly detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from Taylor’s breath leading to his arrest. Police say he was charged by Deputy Tyler Westphal with the following: Assault First Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol.
Taylor remains incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Jail, otherwise known as Hotel St. Mary’s – the domicile of the perpetually miscreant.
Taylor, 37, of 21465 Whites Neck Road, Bushwood, Md., and two years ago, a resident of Hollywood, entered a guilty plea to DWI on March 18, 2016, in Calvert County District Court in a plea deal obtained a verdict of Probation Before Judgement. Taylor was arrested on Jan. 28, 2016, by Calvert Deputy Sheriff T. Holt as he operated a 2008 Nissan on HG Truman Road at Southern Connector in Lusby, Md. The plea deal netted Taylor no fine and one day in jail which was another very weak treatment of an intoxicated driver by Calvert County States Attorney Laura Martin. Attorney Michael V. Davis of Leonardtown worked out the easy plea deal for Taylor.
Taylor was ordered held without bond by the District Court Commissioner and has a court appearance on Oct. 30, 2018, and Nov. 15, 2018. Taxpayers will be overjoyed to learn that this alleged dirtbag, drunk driver and all around nutcase will have an attorney paid for by the public treasury.
