MURDER USA: Mr. Lucky ran out of luck

PG Police Detectives Investigate Homicide

LAUREL, MD. – Sometimes a person just can’t live up to their name. That is the case with this latest murder reported on the killing fields of Prince Georges County in Maryland, not far from the Murdaland of Baltimore.

Prince Georges County Police report that Detectives with the Homicide Unit are conducting an investigation into a homicide in Laurel. The victim is 19-year-old Hassan Lucky of Old Stage Coach Road in Laurel. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random crime.

On October 24th, at approximately 3:30 pm, patrol officers were called to the 13000 block of Laurel Bowie Road for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Lucky unresponsive on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and a motive.
