HEROIN HIGHWAY TO HELL: When Moon came over the mountain with fentanyl and heroin, the Frederick Police had a room ready for him in the slammer

FREDERICK, MD. – Frederick Police say that they have a dealer of fentanyl and heroin in the hoosegow and unable, at least until he makes bail, to allegedly deal more death in the City of Frederick.

Police say that on Nov. 6, 2018, a search and seizure warrant was completed at a residence at 2415 Huntwood Court in Frederick Maryland by members of the Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit, the Maryland State Police and the Frederick County Sheriff Office pursuant to a drug investigation that took place over the month of October 2018.

Detectives determined that the suspect Charles Abernathy Moon was involved in drug transactions involving heroin and fentanyl to Frederick County residents. Upon securing the residence quantities of suspected heroin and fentanyl were located inside along with paraphernalia associated with packaging drugs for sale.

Moon was placed under arrest by Frederick City Police Officer Bednar without incident and transported to the Frederick County Jail for an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

The Frederick Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Unit is aggressively targeting drug dealers who knowingly sell Opioids including heroin and fentanyl to users.

Charged: Charles Abernathy Moon; DOB: 07-04-1985

Charges: Possession (Heroin); Possession (Fentanyl); Felony Possession with the intent to distribute (Heroin); PWID (Fentanyl); PWID (Fentanyl/Heroin Mix), PWID in School Zone.

Moon was ordered held without bond and he has been deemed eligible for a free attorney provided by Maryland Taxpayers, meaning that he won’t have to dip into his own alleged illegal drug funds to pay for a mouthpiece.
