Police say that on November 25, 2018, at approximately 9:45 am, PG Police reported that patrol officers responded to the 5600 block of Woodland Drive for a welfare check on an unresponsive man outside in a yard. When they arrived, officers discovered Robinson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Bell was committed to the PG County Jail on charges of first and second-degree murder, use of a firearm in a felony crime, and held without bond on Nov. 28, 2018. Bell has a preliminary hearing on Dec. 26, 2018 in Upper Marlboro, Md.

Through the course of the investigation, detectives developed Bell as the suspect. The preliminary investigation reveals the suspect and victim got into an argument over an earlier traffic accident between the two men.  Police say that the argument led to the fatal shooting.
