THE CASE OF THE BOOMERANG BULLET
– A Heathen Christmas Story

LINCOLN, DEL. – When Javaghn D. Waples decided to give his girlfriend for Christmas the gift of murder, he wasn’t aware he was using a boomerang bullet in his trusty gun and standing under the Mistletoe made from Hemlock.

The Delaware State Police report the Christmas Day arrest of a Lincoln man after a domestic battle royal led to him shooting his girlfriend.

THE CASE OF THE BOOMERANG BULLET – Javaghn D. Waples sent hot lead flying at his girlfriend in a Christmas gift he will never forget.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at approximately 7:39 a.m., when most folks were either in church, eating a holiday breakfast of blueberry waffles and country sausage the heathens up early too on Pine Street.

When Delaware State Police troopers arrived at the corner of Mayhem and Murder, they found a thirty-seven-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound which had allegedly been administered by Javaghn D. Waples.

Waples was also wounded in a case of Boomerang Bullet where the gun he fired at close range and struck his girlfriend in the upper torso, took a U-turn and hit this rocket scientist in the chest.

Waples threw his temper tantrum and attempted to hill the woman in front of two children, ages 12 and 15, report police.

Both the victim and Waples were transported to the Milford Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Upon Waples release from the hospital, Police took him to the slammer after he was transported to Troop 4 where he was charged with the following:

  • Attempt to Commit Murder First Degree
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited
  • Terroristic Threatening
  • Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 counts)

Waples was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $1,006,600.000 cash only bond.
