DWI HIT PARADE: Lights Out for Robert Hamilton when he got a light pole in one along with DUI and drug charges
SALISBURY, MD. – Maryland State Police report that on Jan. 29, 2019 at 7:59 pm, a 2017 Kia Optima piloted by an alleged boozing bozo wrecked into a utility pole, winning the driver a trip to the Wicomico County Jail.
Robert Lloyd Hamilton, 27, of 13319 Nantucket Road, Ocean City, Maryland now faces charges of failing to have driver’s permit and DWI when he cracked up on U.S. Rt. 50 at Civic Ave., in Salisbury, Md.
Maryland State Police Trooper First Class Jordan Monk also charged Hamilton with possession of drugs.
Hamilton is being awarded a free attorney, courtesy of the taxpayers, so he can continue to spend his money on drugs and alcohol. Hamilton will be visiting with a District Court Judge on April 29, 2019. He was released from jail on Jan. 30, 2019 without putting up any cash, thereby guaranteeing his funds will be available for more fuel for his next adventure.
Hamilton entered a guilty plea to theft on May 6, 2016 in Ocean City District Court in a plea deal with the Wicomico County States Attorney. THE DEAL: eighteen months sentence in the county jail and ordered to pay restitution of $3,422,20.
