On January 6, 2017, 51-year-old Donna Pentek was found dead in a home in the 9200 block of Okla Drive in Fairfax. Major Ed O’Carroll, Commander of the Major Crimes Bureau, updates the community the arrest of her husband, Laszlo Pentek, for her murder.
Fairfax Police released this information the day of the murder:
Mason Police District: At 3:25 this afternoon, we got a call for a shooting at a home in the 9200 block of Okla Drive in Fairfax; the call came from a family member. When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been shot; she was pronounced dead at the scene. They also found a man who had been shot; he was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives believe this is a domestic-related incident and that there is no threat to the community.
INDICTMENT FOR HUBBY FOR MURDER OF HIS WIFE CAME ON VALENTINE’S DAY
Police say that Laslo Pentek’s injuries were significant and they were monitoring his activities after his release from the hospital and prior to his indictment by the Grand Jury on Valentines Day, Feb. 14, 2019.
