WHY DIDN’T STATES ATTORNEY KEEP THIS DANGEROUS FELON IN JAIL?
WHY DIDN’T DEPUTIES SIMPLY PICK HIM UP IN THE EARLY MORNING THE NEXT DAY?
Scroll down for the pursuit policies of the Maryland State Police and the St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department. The State Police ended their pursuit while deputies continued until the crash that killed Carol Anderson.

NOW, THIS IS MURDER! Carol Anderson of Leonardtown has died from her injuries when Dirtbag Machiavelli Savoy crashed into her when fleeing deputies. Why didn’t Fritz keep this felon in jail instead of giving him an easy plea deal? Why did deputies continue the pursuit when they could have picked this louse up any old day of the week in Lexington Park. With this doofus hairdo, he was easy enough to spot anywhere. The Maryland State Police discontinued the high-speed chase, deputies did not. See both agencies pursuit policies at the bottom of the article.

LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – A woman died after being hit head-on by a dangerous armed felon fleeing from police who owed his freedom to flee and maim to yet another easy plea deal to an gun violator by St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz.

St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on March 3, 2019, at approximately 12:44 p.m. law enforcement officers located Machiavelli Tyzhae Savoy, 20, of 46599 Midway Drive, Lexington Park, Md., operating a vehicle in the area of Midway Drive in Lexington Park.

Police say that Savoy was wanted on numerous outstanding warrants, to include Handgun on Person, Handgun in a Vehicle, and Loaded Handgun in Vehicle.

Sheriff Cameron says that Officers attempted to take Savoy into custody, however Savoy refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued. During the pursuit, Savoy lost control of the vehicle he was operating while negotiating a curve on Pegg Road.  Savoy’s vehicle crossed the centerline of the roadway and was struck by another vehicle. The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene and continued the investigation.

Preliminary investigation determined a 1995 GMC Jimmy, operated by Machiavelli Tyzhae Savoy, was traveling northbound on Pegg Road when Savoy lost control of the vehicle in the area of West Westbury Boulevard.

Savoy’s vehicle crossed the centerline, and entered the southbound lanes of travel, where it was struck by a 2016 Volkswagen Beetle, operated by Carol Jean Anderson, age 87 of Leonardtown. Both operators sustained incapacitating injuries and were transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital; both operators were subsequently transported to area trauma centers for further treatment and remain in critical condition.

Police say that they located on Savoy’s person prior to being transported to the hospital was a loaded handgun; other items of evidence were also recovered from the vehicle. Additional charges are pending review with the Office of the State’s Attorney.  At this time speed, driver error, and attempting to elude arrest appear to be contributing factors in the collision.

For those looking for an explanation of why a dangerous criminal like Savoy is out on the streets, look no further than the plea deal cooked up for Savoy by St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on Jan. 5, 2018.

When Savoy was indicted by the St. Mary’s County Circuit Court Grand Jury on Sept. 8, 2017, for having a handgun in a vehicle, handgun on his person and possession of a hand gun by a minor, it was plea deal time. THE DEAL: Savoy entered a guilty plea and the tough talking prosecutor who prims and poses before every election about being tough on drug dealers and violent crime agreed to a jail term of five years with all but two years suspended. Court records show that probation was granted to Savoy before two years was up and on Feb. 15, 2019, he had violated the terms of probation and a summons for his arrest was issued on Feb. 27, 2019.

Savoy was sentenced to ten days in jail for misdemeanor assault in St. Mary’s District Court when he was given a verdict in a plea deal of Probation Before Judgement on July 13, 2017.

WHY DID ST. MARY’S STATES ATTORNEY RICHARD FRITZ GIVE THIS DIRTBAG AN EASY PLEA DEAL?

  1. People who don’t know Machiavelli Savoy is trying to make him out to be this bad person. My little brother is not a bad person at all. Yeah he messed up and made some mistakes but who don’t. He is still young and leaning but he is NO CRIMINAL. Nobody’s perfect and everyone makes mistakes. That doesn’t give you the right to judge. I feel as though the police could’ve handle this situation differently then how they did it. Now two people are hurt behind how the police handle the situation. They were so pressed to get my little brother that they didn’t care who they put at jeopardy. I know my little brother was in the wrong for running. But Machiavelli Savoy is NOT A THUG. God I pray you keep my brother under your wing and help him get better. He’s suffering a lot of injuries and is fighting hard for his life. Machiavelli is not a FELON

    1. Corrina What planet do you live on? Of course, your brother is a thug, killer, criminal. Wake up and admit it. It is illegal to flee. Too bad he wasn’t the one killed, after he lost control of the car and entered an oncoming lane. He IS responsible for the crash. The deputy chasing him is not blameless. But it wasn’t like your brother had forgotten to pay a parking meter fine. Fritz IS also responsible for putting your brother back out on the street, instead of in jail or prison.
