FREDERICK POLICE BEAT: No Freedom for Five Thugs with Guns and Drugs
FREDERICK, MD – FIVE GUYS WITH GUNS NOT BURGERS – These silly city boys from PG County and Montgomery County who were all packing heat and carrying along extra ammo, with one of them a convicted felon also armed weren’t looking for some cows to buy on their trip to the country. They weren’t on the way to a gun range for target practice. They were just up to no good. And one of them was a lousy driver.
Frederick Police say that on March 2, 2019, at approximately 10:49 pm, Officer Grant Smith was on patrol in the area of the 1300 block of West 7th Street and spotted a vehicle cross over both center yellow lines. Officer Smith activated his emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop. The five occupants of the vehicle were acting in a suspicious manner, with the rear three passengers shuffling back and forth in their seats as though they were attempting to conceal contraband. A K-9 unit was called to the scene to conduct a sniff of the vehicle. During the sniff, the K-9 indicated a positive alert on the vehicle for the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Police say that during the search of the occupants and the vehicle, officers located a loaded Ruger 9MM handgun, marijuana, and amphetamines. The following individuals were charged:

In a plea deal approved by the Montgomery County States Attorney John McCarthy, Gordon pleaded guilty to conspiracy to robbery and all the other charges were dropped.
THE DEAL: Gordon was given a sentence of ten years in prison with all of the time suspended except for one year and three years of supervised probation. Gordon’s big break will soon come home to haunt him as the legal system isn’t run by a bunch of liberal wimps like in Montgomery County and he just might see some serious crime, plus his backup time – it’s goodbye Gordon
