NORFOLK POLICE BEAT: Alexander Jones charged with grand larceny following the theft a statue from a Norfolk hotel

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Norfolk detectives have arrested Alexander Jones who was wanted for stealing a statue from inside The Main hotel in Downtown Norfolk last Saturday Night.

Alexander Jones, 25, of the 7000 block of Newport Avenue was arrested Thursday afternoon at his residence and has been charged with grand larceny.

The Main Hilton Hotel statute stolen by Alexander Jones of Norfolk Va.

On March 23, 2019, around midnight, surveillance cameras captured Jones leaving The Main Hotel with the statute, which was worth over $3,000.  

The statute, which belongs to the hotel, was returned.
