DWI HIT PARADE: When a Forrest crashes his car while drunk in the woods does anyone hear him?

CALIFORNIA, MD. – Christopher Forrest is keeping the taxpayer funded public defender busy these days. Locked up for DWI early in May, he has been accused in a statement of charges of first and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment on May 19, 2019 by Deputy B. Foor.

Christopher Forrest DUI arrest St. Mary’s Sheriff

St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on May 5, 2019, St. Mary’s Sheriff Dep. Burgess conducted a traffic stop at Millstone Landing Road and Three Notch Road in California, Md., and identified the operator of a 1996 Chevy to be Christopher Paul Forrest, 43, of 13555 Point Lookout Road, Ridge, Md.

Police say that Forrest was determined to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol; he was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se, and Driving While Intoxicated. Forrest was only kept in the Hotel St. Mary’s for one night in a guest suite.

Forrest leads a charmed life with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz either dropping or placing on the Stet Docket nearly two dozen traffic citations in 2018 related to driving while suspended, without a permit, failing to attend Driver Improvement Program – all as a result of a DWI conviction on Sept. 4, 2015, in St. Mary’s County Circuit Court. In a plea deal, in that case, Forrest entered a guilty plea. THE DEAL: sixty days in jail with all but two days suspended.
