Baltimore Police Officer shot on Fayette Street; gunman fired at police on Aug. 27 too; now shot dead by return police fire

BALTIMORE POLICE OFFICER WOUNDED BY TYRONE DOMINGO BANKS; RETURN FIRE ENDED CRIMINAL CAREER OF DIRTBAG

BALTIMORE, MD. – Baltimore Police report that the man who shot at police two nights in a row and had his luck run out the second time was Tyrone Domingo Banks, 30, (DOB 03/11/1989) of 2200 E. Biddle Street, Apt. 117, Baltimore, Md.

The shooting that was fatal to Banks after he opened fire on a group of police officers took place at Caroline and Fayette Streets in Baltimore City.

In Banks most recent contact with police, he was cited for aggressive driving as he operated a 2006 Infinity on Jan. 30, 2019 in Prince Georges County by a Maryland State Trooper as he blew out other drivers on the infamous Rt. 210 (Indian Head Highway) and was fined $370.

Banks was found guilty of assault, resisting arrest, malicious property destruction, aggressive driving, fleeing from police, and a traffic violation on Nov. 3, 2016, in Baltimore City Circuit Court. Banks was sentenced to ten years in prison with seven years suspended and probation ordered for five years.
