MURDER USA: Cobey Mishler caught and charged with homicide of Seth Abbey
SALISBURY, MD – The Maryland State Police report that the agency’s Apprehension Team has located and arrested the suspect believed to be responsible for fatally stabbing a man Oct. 6, 2019, in Wicomico County.
The accused is identified as Cobey Mishler, 18, (DOB 06/16/2001) of 680 Fitzwater Street Unit 206, Salisbury, Md. Mishler was charged by Maryland State Police Trooper S. Sears of the Salisbury Barrack, with first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. He was incarcerated in the Wicomico County Jail and deemed eligible for a free attorney paid for by the Taxpayers of Maryland.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 7, 2019, Mishler was arrested at a residence in the 1000 block of Schumaker Woods Drive in Salisbury. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Salisbury Barrack for processing.
The deceased is identified as Seth Patrick Abbey, 18, (DOB 09/2001) of 6464 Louden Court, Salisbury, Md. Abbey was found in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Beaglin Park Drive in Salisbury shortly after 10:00 p.m. Oct. 6, 2019, with apparent stab wounds. He was transported to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by hospital personnel. Investigators await autopsy results from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore to determine the cause and manner of death.

arrest warrant for Mishler.
