Police say that Riley traveled about one mile while Deputy Baker’s emergency equipment was activated before he pulled over at 45259 Happyland Road in Valley Lee. Riley was arrested at 10:21 pm and Deputy Baker contacted the victim who advised that Riley had threatened, grabbed and poked the victim.

Riley was charged with:

  • Driving Under the Influence,
  • Driving While Impaired by Alcohol
  • and Second-Degree Assault.

The taxpayers of Maryland have been kind enough to pony up their hard-earned funds to provide a free lawyer for Riley.

Riley was arrested on May 1, 2010 for DWI by Maryland TFC Newman as he operated a 2006 Dodge on Rt. 301 at Rt. 228. Riley entered into a plea deal on Feb. 24, 2011 with Charles County States Attorney Anthony Covington and pleaded guilty to DWI. THE DEAL: Riley was sentenced to one year in jail with six months suspended and a zero fine.

Twann James Riley was arrested for DWI by Maryland State Trooper T. Ford on May 26, 2008, as he operated a 1994 Ford on Smallwood Drive at Copley Ave. in Waldorf. On July 2, 2009, in a plea deal with Charles County States Attorney Anthony Covington, Riley entered a guilty plea to DWI.  THE DEAL: Riley was given a sixty-day sentence with 46 days suspended and a fine of $357.50. All of the fine was suspended. On July 20, 2012, Riley violated the terms of his probation.

Vape Juice or Grape Juice to Spice Up Alleged Drug Dealer Eric Ward’s Urine?

LEONARDTOWN, MD. – It is a good thing that accused drug distributor Eric Ward didn’t drink his vape juice as he could have been added to the casualty list of the dozens of stupid folks who vape and die. Like cigarettes weren’t bad enough, these genius’ now suck on those vape sticks. Well, back to this story from the Hotel St. Mary’sOld Sheriff Tim Cameron has leaked out this exclusive report that on Oct. 4, 2019, DFC Daniel Holdsworth responded to the St. Mary’s County Jail in Leonardtown for the report of an altered drug test.

DFC Holdsworth was advised by a Corrections Sergeant that Eric Tyler Ward, 30, (DOB 11/06/1988) of 44844 Shady Hollow Lane, California, Md., altered a drug test by filling it vape juice and water. Ward remained in custody at the Jail, as fooling with his urine was no way to get out of the hoosegow, and he was charged with Altering a Drug/Alcohol Test.

St. Mary’s County, Md., Sheriff-Tim-Cameron with Dep.-Kirchner-DWI-arrest-of-Matthew-Blankenship. St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz dropped the charge. In another DWI arrest of Blankenship in 2008, he got a plea deal with a 30-day suspended sentence.

Ward was indicted by the St. Mary’s County Circuit Court Grand Jury following a narcotics investigation undertaken by the St. Mary’s Sheriff Narco Squad on July 8, 2019. Ward has employed the esteemed barrister Bryan Timothy Dugan of Lexington Park as his mouthpiece in Circuit Court to answer the charges of distribution of drugs from an incident that took place on Oct. 23, 2018.

Eric Tyler Ward entered a guilty plea to misdemeanor theft in St. Mary’s County District Court on Sept. 12, 2017, in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz. THE DEAL: Ward picked up a 90-day suspended sentence. Ward filed a motion in District Court to remove the arrest by St. Mary’s Deputy Rozier Steinbach to expunge the arrest and conviction on April 8, 2019.  The expungement request, if granted, would only apply to that specific case on court records, not others being racked up by Ward since then, nor would it apply to news reports of the historically correct representation of the crime and outcome published by media outlets. Ward, as long as he retains a right to vote, might consider voting for Rep. OAC of New York to be President/Queen as she advocates eliminating all prisons and he will never have to worry about juicing the urine sample again.

California Dreaming on Video Makes Shoplifting Arrest a Reality

CALIFORNIA, MD. – Going shopping at the Target without any money brings out the creativity for some folks. Old Sheriff Tim Cameron, ready to run for a fifth term in office, reports that on Oct. 4, 2019, Deputy Joseph Bowling responded to the California Target store for the report of an alleged theft.

Amy-Marie-Lambert-St.-Mary’s-Sheriff

Sheriff Cameron says that the loss prevention officer advised that Amy Marie Lambert, 43, of Hollywood, entered the store, concealed merchandise in her purse, went to the self-checkout area where she scanned two items but then proceeded to leave the store without paying for rest of the merchandise. The loss prevention officer provided security camera footage of the theft and Lambert was charged with Theft: $100 to under $1,500.

Lambert may get time in the hoosegow, if convicted of the alleged crimes, and listen to the Mamas & the Papas about a different California in California Dreaming.

Old Sleepy Head and Coke-Head Delano O’Brien Gray Jr. Was Snoozing in the Middle of the Road

CHAPTICO, MD. – Old Sheriff Tim Cameron never runs out of things to talk about when looking back over the thirteen long years he has been in office as sheriff and thirty years since he began as a slick sleeve deputy, even before President Ronald Reagan was elected to his first term in 1980. The top Country song of 1980 was ‘Coward of The County’ by Kenny Rogers, who is still kicking, but canceled the remainder of his Gambler’s Last Deal Farewell Tour in 2018 due to ill health.

Old Sheriff Tim has been giving the advice in the famous song to miscreants for years:

“Promise me, son, not to do the things I’ve done‘

Walk away from trouble if you can

It won’t mean you’re weak if you turn the other cheek

I hope you’re old enough to understand

Son, you don’t have to fight to be a man”

Now Old Sheriff Cameron reports that on Oct. 4, 2019, Deputy Artina Manns responded to the intersection of Budds Creek Road and Chaptico Hill Lane for the report of a vehicle stopped in the roadway obstructing traffic.

Deputy Manns found Delano O’Brien Gray Jr., 35, (DOB 10/04/1984) of 3065 Bicentennial Court, Port Republic, Md., who was with his 2019 Volvo. Gray advised he had fallen asleep at the wheel, but Deputy Manns detected the odor of alcohol from Gray’s breath and he did not satisfactorily complete a standardized field sobriety test.

Deputy Manns searched Gray as part of his arrest for DWI and reports that a plastic baggie of cocaine was also found. Gray was hauled off to Leonardtown and incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Jail and charged with DWI, DUI, DUI Per Se, and CDS: Possession of Cocaine. As this is the Alice in Wonderland Maryland Judiciary, bail instructions governing Gray’s release allowed him to take a hike out of jail without having to post any cash bond on Oct. 5, 2019.  The generous and unwitting taxpayers of Maryland will be providing this yahoo with a free attorney for his first hearing on Nov. 19, 2019.

When arrested for DWI by Calvert Deputy Sheriff C. Ward on Nov. 7, 2014, Delano Obrien Gray Jr., was able to get a free attorney, Luke Woods, paid for by the hapless taxpayers of Maryland, to be his mouthpiece with Calvert County States Attorney Laura Martin. In a plea deal on May 8, 2015, (Gray failed to appear for trial on March 13, 2015, and a warrant was issued for his immediate arrest) Gray entered a guilty plea to DWI. THE DEAL: a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with a sentence of twenty days in jail with all of the jail time suspended, as was often the case in the silly season of the Calvert States Attorney Office when Martin was the chief prosecutor.  Gray was fined $192.50. Gray violated his probation on Jan. 19, 2017 when he was listed as non-compliant with the Calvert Substance Abuse Program (likely failed a urine test). Gray was sent to jail on Aug. 11, 2017, cited for an incident in the jail on Sept. 26, 2017, jailed again on Oct. 16, 2017, and let out of the slammer again the same day.

Ole Sheriff Tim has been an example to his deputies, at crime scenes, drug arrests, traffic stops and on patrol checking the back doors of stores in the middle of the night. With Kenny Roger’s tune and lyrics below in mind:

“I promised you, Dad, not to do the things you’ve done

I walk away from trouble when I can

Now please don’t think I’m weak, I didn’t turn the other cheek

And papa, I sure hope you understand

Sometimes you gotta fight when you’re a man”
