MARYLAND STATE POLICE BEAT: Tracy Kathleen Gregory’s Drug Ride Over Mile Marker

SALISBURY, MD. – Police say that an alleged pill-popping Mama was taken her drug ride on the U.S. 13 when she left the roadway and ran over a mile marker.

Maryland State Police report that on Oct. 9, 2019, at approximately 6:00 pm, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Salisbury Barrack responded to U.S. Rt. 13 and St. Luke’s Road Salisbury, Maryland for a report of a single-vehicle collision.

Troopers found a gray Chevrolet Equinox with front end damage on the shoulder of the road and determined that the driver struck and knocked down a mile marker pole at that location.

TFC Monk identified the driver as Tracy Kathleen Gregory, (DOB 01/11/1978), of 802 Shelburne Way, Salisbury, Md.

TFC Monk found Gregory was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. Gregory was placed under arrest and transported to MSP Salisbury Barrack for processing. Upon their arrival at the barrack, a prescription bottle of Tramadol was located in her purse, which is a schedule IV controlled dangerous substance.

TRAMADOL: High risk for addiction and dependence. Can cause respiratory distress and death when taken in high doses or when combined with other substances, especially alcohol.

A Drug Recognition Expert responded to the barrack and performed an evaluation on Gregory.  Gregory was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where she consented to give a blood sample.  Charges are pending due to the results of the blood sample.  She was taken and released to the Wicomico County Jail for possession of CDS not-marijuana.

Gregory was sprung from the hoosegow on her own personal recognizance.  She is eligible to have the overburdened taxpayers of Maryland pay the freight for a mouthpiece to make her plea in Wicomico District Court on Jan. 8, 2020.

  • Gregory entered a guilty plea to possession of drugs other than marijuana, and other charges involving possession of opioids were put on the Stet Docket on May 23, 2013, in a plea deal with the Wicomico County States Attorney. THE DEAL: sentenced to three years in prison, two years were suspended, and two years of probation were ordered.
  • Gregory picked up another plea deal from the Wicomico States Attorney for a guilty plea to a drug charge on Oct. 18, 2010, which netted her a verdict of Probation Before Judgement.
