MURDER USA: Anthony Lamar Martin Jr wanted for homicide of Joshua Crouse in Edgewood
EDGEWOOD, MD. – The Harford Sheriff’s Department is tracking the whereabouts of murder suspect Anthony Lamar Martin Jr., 16, of 2905 Siwanoy Drive in Edgewood for a homicide that took place on Nov. 1, 2019.
Police say that on November 1, 2019, at approximately 3:19 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Department were on foot patrol in the area of Edgewater Village when they heard a single gunshot come from the area of Grempler Way and Brookside Drive.
Deputies immediately responded to the area, where they located Joshua Dwayne Crouse, 40, (DOB 07/20/1979) of 1709 Edgewood Road, #303, Joppa, Md., laying in the roadway in the 1800 block of Grempler Way suffering from gunshot wounds.
Deputies immediately began life-saving measures until they were relieved by medics from the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. Crouse was declared deceased by medics on the scene at 3:50 a.m.
Anyone with information regarding Martin’s whereabouts is asked to call 911. If you see him, do not approach him, he is considered armed and dangerous.
Crouse was a resident of Motel 6 in 2018, which may want to turn the lights off as he won’t be coming back.
Crouse was found guilty in Harford District Court on Aug. 29, 2018, of second-degree assault in a plea deal with the Harford County States Attorney. THE DEAL: Crouse was sentenced to 18 months in the Harford County Jail with all of the jail time suspended. Crouse was put on supervised probation for the 18 months and court records show that he violated his probation on Jan. 2, 2019 and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
In a domestic violence child abuse case in Harford District Court on May 3, 2004, an interim protective order was issued by a District Court Judge.
Joshua Crouse filed for Absolute Divorce from Crystal Crouse in Harford Circuit Court which was granted on Oct. 22, 2007.
Martin might be hanging out with his daddy, Anthony Lamar Martin (DOB 12/03/1977) who was arrested for allegedly stealing a credit card but failed to appear for trial on May 7, 2019 causing a bench warrant to be issued for his arrest, in addition to being chased for child support.
