Police report that on September 17, 2019, Calvert Sheriff’s Deputy Hardesty conducted a traffic stop at Parran Road and Solomons Island Road in St. Leonard. Upon making contact with the driver, Allen Wayne Noyes, 39, of 3610 Karen Drive, Chesapeake Beach.

Deputy Hardesty noticed the odor of raw marijuana and alcohol emanating from the vehicle.

The driver was removed from the vehicle and a search of his person was conducted which revealed a glass marijuana smoking device and a clear RX bottle containing marijuana. During a search of the vehicle, police say that (2) Adderall capsules were found with the contents partially removed, as well as wire mesh, another glass marijuana smoking device, a glass crack pipe, and another clear RX bottle with marijuana residue.

Noyes was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Jail, where he was charged with CDS: Possession- Not Marijuana, CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia and multiple traffic citations for driving under in the influence.

Noyes is represented by Upper Marlboro Attorney John Joseph Pilkulski 4th in the case pending before Calvert County District Court on Jan 24, 2020.

METH HEAD DAYS IN CHESAPEAKE BEACH; Matthew Anderson meets the Judge on Friday the 13th

CHESAPEAKE BEACH, MD. – Meth only enhanced the life of Brian Cranston, an actor, who played a weird criminal drug dealer on BREAKING BAD on cable TV.  For folks like Matthew Earl Anderson, meth just makes them stupid.

Calvert Sheriff Mike Evans reports that on September 18, 2019, Detective Kelly conducted a traffic stop at Summer City Boulevard and Route 260 in Chesapeake Beach. The driver, Mathew Earl Anderson, 28, (DOB 06/05/1991) of 6550 Old Bayside Road, Chesapeake Beach, Md., was removed from the vehicle and a search was conducted which resulted in (5) small plastic bags with suspected Methamphetamine, a glass smoking device with suspected Methamphetamine residue inside, and one metal cylindrical canister keychain containing one yellow pill and one green pill both identified as Alprazolam.

 Anderson was placed under arrest by Calvert Detective Sgt. Craig Kontra and transported to the Calvert County Jail where he was charged with:

• CDS: Possession with Felony Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, LSD, PCP  
• CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana,
• and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.

Taxpayers of Maryland will be joyful to learn that their hard-earned tax money will be used to pay for a free lawyer for Anderson when he appears in District Court on Friday the 13^th of December, which could be a day Anderson might remember.

Anderson was indicted by the Calvert County Circuit Court Grand Jury on Oct. 21, 2019, with five criminal counts related to his arrest. A bench warrant was issued for his immediate arrest on Nov. 26, 2019.

In addition, to be an alleged and fairly inept drug dealer, Anderson’s career as a burglar was interrupted by a stint in the Maryland Department of Corrections at Hagerstown, Md., for a period of about three and a half years.  Anderson entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary in Calvert County Circuit Court on Nov. 1, 2010, in a plea deal with then-Calvert States Attorney Laura Martin. THE DEAL: Anderson picked up his three hots and a cot with credit given for time served of 153 days.

Calvert Sheriff Mike Evans reports that on September 19, 2019, Deputy Mason assisted in a traffic stop at Dares Beach Road at Solomon’s Island Road in Prince Frederick. The driver, Dawn Marie Krause (40), of 303 Oak Drive, Lusby, Md., was removed from the vehicle. A search of Krause’s person revealed (2) orange Adderall capsules for which Krause did not have a prescription. Krause was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Jail and charged with CDS Possession-Not Marijuana.  A hearing is set for Dec. 6, 2019 in Calvert District Court.

Calvert Deputies report that on September 19, 2019, Detective Kelly conducted a traffic stop at Old Towne Road and Solomon’s Island Road in Huntingtown. During the traffic stop, DFC Jacobs observed several clear capsules containing a white powdery substance suspected to be heroin.

The driver, Wesley Matthew Mandley, 34, of 413 East Range Road, Lusby, Md., was removed from the vehicle and a search was conducted which revealed 97 clear plastic capsules each containing a white powdery substance suspected to be heroin. Mandley was placed under arrest and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession with Intent to Distribute: Narcotics, CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana, and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.

On Oct. 21, 2019, the Circuit Court Grand Jury for Calvert returned six counts of felony drug distribution, possession of drugs, driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia. The next court date for Mandley is Feb. 10, 2020.

Mandley entered an Alford Plea to felony sex offense third degree on March 6, 2010, and picked up a deal from Calvert States Attorney Laura Martin when he was sentenced to five and one-half years in prison with all but 12 days suspended in the deal.  A charge of felony sex abuse of a minor was dropped as part of the deal.
