BALTIMORE CITY POLICE BEAT: Drug Dealer ‘Wiley Coyote’ Kyaunte Williams Sought for Armed Robbery; Got the Plea Deal of a Lifetime from Harford Prosecutor
BALTIMORE, MD. – Baltimore Police Warrant Apprehension detectives need help locating Kyaunte Maurice Williams, 21, (DOB 08/25/1998) of Baltimore, Md.
Williams is wanted for an armed robbery that took place on October 30, 2019, in the 5500 block of Belair Road. At that time, Williams, who was armed with a handgun, along with a friend, removed the victim’s car keys from his person, got into the victim’s car and drove away.
Kyaunte Williams is 6′ 04″ tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs., a virtual beanpole who should stand out in a crowd. Williams has a warrant ready for him charging him with six counts of conspiracy to robbery, armed robbery, assault, theft, and robbery.

Kyaunte Williams was arrested by Harford County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Craig on May 10, 2017; was indicted by the Harford County Grand Jury on May 31, 2017, and he entered a guilty plea to felony possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute on Feb. 13, 2018, in Harford County Circuit Court.
In a remarkable plea deal with the Harford County States Attorney Joseph I. Cassilly, Williams was sentenced to five years in prison. THE DEAL: All of the prison time was suspended except for two days – which is about the same penalty for a miscreant stealing a package of chicken wings from a grocery store.
Typically, when such an unusually easy deal is made by prosecutors, it is an indication that the defendant flipped on a competing drug dealer to enable police to get a bigger fish to fry and leaves the drug business of that drug dealer available to be taken over by the one who flipped him – proving that there is never any honor among thieves.
On Dec. 26, 2019, Williams violated his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to court records.
Also charged with drug distribution on the same day by the same deputy was Myles K. Edwards, (DOB 09/23/1994) of 5215 Anthony Avenue, Baltimore, Md. Charges included felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon along with other gun violations. Edwards was ordered held without bond and the case sent to Circuit Court. In a plea deal with the Harford States Attorney on Aug. 20, 2018, Edwards entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs and the felony gun charges along with the felony drug dealing charges were dropped. THE DEAL: Edwards was sentenced to one year in jail, with court records showing that he was released from jail the same day as the court hearing. Towson attorney Tara G. Lecompte represented Myles Kristopher Edwards, who at the time of indictment by the Harford Grand Jury was a resident of the Harford County Jail.
A neighbor of Kyaunte Williams, Collin Michael Bocage, (DOB 01/03/1997), of 4403 LaSalle Ave., Baltimore Md., who lives a block away from the wanted drug dealer and alleged armed robber, was also charged with drug charges on May 10, 2017, by Harford Deputy Craig. The charges against Bocage were dropped by the Harford States Attorney on Nov. 2, 2017. Indictments were handed down by the Harford Grand Jury for offenses which took place on Aug. 23, 2017. Facing two felony distribution counts as well as two misdemeanor charges and one minor charge of failing to obey a police officer, Bocage got a sweet plea deal from the Harford States attorney when Bocage entered a plea deal to the minor chump charge and all of the serious charges were dropped like a hot rock on June 20, 2019.
Collin Bocage was arrested in Baltimore City on charges filed in Baltimore City Circuit Court on March 15, 2019, on the charges of having a loaded gun in a vehicle, a gun in his possession, wearing a gun, possession of drug and resisting arrest. On April 16, 2019, Bocage got a plea deal from Baltimore City States Attorney Marilyn Mosby and he entered a guilty plea to having a handgun on his person. THE DEAL: Bocage was sentenced to three years in prison with two years, nine months and 15 days suspended.
Arrested the day before Williams, Edwards, and Bocage was Nicholas A. Brunson, (DOB 01/24/1995) of 5602 Evanshire Ave., Baltimore, Md. Deputy Craig charged Brunson with five counts of drug possession and distribution – two of them felony counts, and the case was sent to Harford Circuit Court. Indictments by the Harford County Grand Jury were handed down on May 31, 2017, charging Brunson with felony distribution of drugs. In a plea deal, Brunson entered a guilty plea on Nov. 29, 2017 and was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement. THE DEAL: No fine and no time.
Also arrested by Deputy Craig on May 9, 2017, and charged with one felony count of possession with the intent to distribute drugs, and four misdemeanor counts of drug possession were Jonathan Howard Thomas, (DOB 09/15/1994) of 5405 Greenhill Ave., Baltimore, Md. Thomas was ordered held without bond and the next day was released on his own recognizance. The Grand Jury indicted Thomas on May 31, 2017, and the Harford States Attorney entered into a plea deal on Nov. 15, 2017. Thomas pleaded guilty to felony drug distribution on Nov. 15, 2017. THE DEAL: Thomas was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement with no fine and no time and all other charges were dropped.
Derrick Dairen Delilly (DOB 03/07/1998) of 3216 Trellis Lane, Abingdon, Md., was arrested by Harford Sheriff’s Deputy Craig on July 19, 2017, and charged with possession and felony distribution of drugs. The outcome for Delilly was without consequence when he got a plea deal from Harford States Attorney on Jan. 3, 2018 with a verdict of Probation Before Judgement which canceled out a planned jury trial for Jan. 24, 2018.
Jason Nathaniel Napolitano (DOB 01/12/1983) of 647 Lochern Terrace, Bel Air, Md., was arrested by Harford Sheriff Deputy Craig on Sept. 3, 2017, on felony distribution and three misdemeanor counts of drug distribution and possession. A bond in the amount of $7,500 was posted to secure his release from the Harford County Jail. The Harford County Circuit Court Grand Jury issued indictments on Sept. 20, 2017, charging felony drug distribution and three misdemeanor associated charges. Napolitano got a plea deal with a free attorney representing him, and the Harford County States Attorney, in which he entered a guilty plea to the felony drug dealing charge. THE DEAL: A sentence of 15 years in prison with all but two years suspended. Napolitano was charged with violating his probation, and on July 5, 2011, he filed an appeal from his residence in the Maryland Correctional Institution at Jessup. Napolitano entered a guilty plea to assault in Harford Circuit Court on Aug. 8, 2011, and picked up a prison term of three years and nine months.
Mitchell Ryan Kane, (DOB 11/28/1997) of 9318 Ramblebrook Road, Nottingham, Md., was arrested by Harford Sheriff Deputy Craig on Sept. 7, 2017, and charged with felony distribution of drugs and packing more than 10 grams of pot. Kane was given the gentle courtesy of being given a summons instead of being hauled into jail in handcuffs – indicating a possible level of collaboration with the investigators in the Harford Drug Task Force.
Garrett A. Knight, (DOB 03/22/1993) of 3007 Lochary Road, Bel Air, Md., was arrested by Harford Sheriff’s Deputy Craig on Nov. 1, 2017 on a felony drug distribution charge and three misdemeanor drug charges. A bail of $7,500 was posted to secure his release from the Harford County Jail.
