CHILD SEX OFFENDER RELEASED: Prince Georges County set illegal alien Manuel Orellana-Ayala, charged with sexual battery of a child, freed without notifying ICE

CHILD SEX OFFENDER RELEASED:

UPPER MARLBORO, MD. – An El Salvadoran man charged with fifteen counts of distribution of child pornography by Maryland State Police investigators who was lodged in the Prince Georges County Jail on December 8, 2020, was allowed to be released in spite of a retainer filed by ICE for his removal.

Court records show that Manuel Orellana-Ayala (DOB 08/15/1976) of 6905 23rd Ave., Hyattsville, Md., has a trial date set for February 5, 2021, at 10:15 am in Upper Marlboro District Court.

Orellana-Ayala was arrested on a warrant issued by the District Court as a result of an investigation undertaken by the Maryland State Police and filed by Maryland State Police Detective Cory Mills as part of the agency’s computer crimes against children effort.

Orellana-Ayala was released from the PG County Jail on December 9, 2020.

Javier Rigoberto Huerta, (DOB 12/03/1957) of 5414 56th Ave., Riverdale, Md., has a criminal appeal case pending in Prince Georges County Circuit Court on February 5, 2021.  Huerta is charged with child sexual abuse, second-and third-degree child sex offense, assault, and sexual contact without consent.  The incidents in the matter took place on August 14, 2014, according to court records. The investigation for the warrant was conducted by Prince Georges County Police Detective Neeld and a public defender provided by Maryland taxpayers is representing Huerta.  Huerta was committed to the Prince Georges County Jail on December 9, 2020.

Vicente Gutierrez, (DOB 12/21/1972, of 8121 15th Avenue, Hyattsville, Md., has a trial date set for February 8, 2021, in District Court of Prince Georges County, Md.  The charges of attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault were dropped by the Prince Georges County States Attorney Alishia Braveboy on December 16, 2020.  Gutierrez was released from the PG County Jail on December 2, 2020, without notifying ICE so he could be deported.
