“It has been an honor to represent the dedicated and courageous men and women of the Maryland State Police as a spokesman, but my time of service in this role has ended.”

One of the many responsibilities of now retired Maryland State Police Major Greg Shipley was to plan ceremonies for promotions, graduations of new troopers, introduction of new equipment, such as the dedication of a new chopper designated as Trooper Seven in Hollywood, Md.  When Shipley retired from the Maryland State Police, he became Director of the Office of Media Communications and Marketing, a post he held until retiring in August of 2021.
