The following people were reported by police as being arrested for Driving under the Influence:
• On 10/27/2021, Justin Whitney Lilly, 35, of Lexington Park, Md was arrested for DUI by Tpr D. Black at 12:51 am for driving while impaired by alcohol and or drugs on Md Rt. 246 in Lexington Park.
• On 10/30/2021, at 2:19 am, Lyndacee Rena Sells, 22, of Lexington Park, MD was arrested for DUI by Tpr K. Poland as she failed to turn into a pumpkin, and charges were filed on November 1, 2021. Sells was operating her Halloween wheels on Rt. 235 at Wildewood Blvd. when she was captured.
• On 10/31/2021, Kirk Kerfit Degler Jr, 29, of 11351 Redlands Road, Lusby, MD was arrested for DUI by Tpr T. Eckrich at 2:18 am, just after the last call for the local bars that featured great Halloween parties. Degler was stopped by the trooper as he piloted a 2021 Toyota just south of Rt. 4 on Rt. 235, sparing him the danger of plunging into the Patuxent River in the event he careened of the top of the Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge. Degler was dressed for a great party and an Uber would have cost him $27 to $30 for a ride home from a bar located on Rt. 235 in California. A good DUI lawyer will cost him from $10,000 to $15,000. If Degler killed someone that night, defending against a manslaughter by motor vehicle DUI charge could have cost him upwards of $50,000 and risked a prison sentence of ten years. But he did save $27 to $30 on Uber.
• On 10/31/2021, Harakambos George Zografos, 26, (DOB 8/16/1995) of 45864 West Quincy Terrace, Lexington Park, MD was arrested for DUI by Tpr Jonathan Powis at 2:03 am when he attracted the attention of the trooper by running a red light at Airport View Drive and Rt. 235, according to court records.

Rt. 4 at Lacey’s Lane. Nelson entered a guilty plea to reckless driving in a wanton and willful disregard for the safety of others on August 3, 2018, in St. Mary’s District Court. In the plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz, Nelson was given a verdict of Probation Before Judgement and fined $535.00. St. Mary’s Sheriff Deputy Deborah Milam charged Nelson with DWI on October 28, 2012, and Nelson hired Waldorf DUI attorney Robert Castro to swing a big plea deal for him with States Attorney Richard Fritz. On and January 2, 2013, Nelson entered a guilty plea to DWI and was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all but four days suspended.
