LOADED GUN AND DRUGS NOT ENOUGH FOR DIPSTICK JUDGE ANDREA WATKINS TO KEEP GUNMAN BEHIND BARS

Patrol Officers Recover Drugs and Loaded Firearm

WALDORF, MD. – In yet another long string of such actions, Maryland District Court Judge Andrea Watkins ruled that it is just dandy with her that a suspect caught with a loaded gun was okay to be released back into the wilds of Waldorf, from whence he came.

Order in the court, the Judge is eating beans…

The release of the gun-toting fellow may not be just the thing that the innocent families who live near this alleged dirtbag want to roam the roads and byways of their community – as they do not have the protection provided to Judges such as Watkins.

On February 10, 2022, at 11 p.m., Sheriff Troy Berry reports that officers initiated a traffic stop in the area of St. Ignatius Drive and St. Charles Parkway after a computer check revealed the registration plates on the vehicle were suspended.

Upon approaching the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana was detected. Officers recovered approximately 31 grams of marijuana and a loaded 9mm firearm from inside the car.

The driver, David Leroy Gray III, 28, of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle, possession with the intent to distribute drugs, traffic violations, and other related charges.

On February 11, District Court Judge Watkins ordered Gray to be released from the Charles County Jail on the condition he obtain electronic monitoring. Gray will meet another of the Dipstick Judges of Charles County on March 23, 2022, when he goes before Judge Kenneth A. Talley for a preliminary hearing, where perhaps Judge Talley will step down from the bench and wash the feet of Gray in an act of doing good to criminals.
