CHUCKLEHEAD DISTRICT COURT COMMISSIONER NAJA BUTLER SET SEBASTIAN SANTANA-GARCIA FREE ON $150 BOND FOLLOWING ARREST WITH LOADED GUN AND POT AT BOAT RAMP

BRYANS ROAD, MD. – Maybe Sebastian was ready to go out on a boat and shoot some skate or blue channel catfish or maybe he was in Chuck County to make a drug deal and it was prudent to bring his favorite gun along to be sure he didn’t get robbed by the low-life vermin druggies of Charles County.

What could be up here, thought the flatfoots?

On March 14, 2022, at 11:30 p.m., Charles County Sheriff’s Department patrol officers were conducting a parking lot check at a public boat ramp in the 1000 block of Marshall Hall Road in Bryans Road, MD when they observed several people and cars in the lot; the ramp and parking lot were closed at that time.

What could be up here, thought the flatfoots? A drug deal perhaps? Boat ramps that are closed to the public late at night are such a good place for the scum that deals drugs.

Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry reports that while approaching the driver of one of the vehicles, officers observed a firearm case and suspected marijuana inside the car.

Officers located a loaded 9mm handgun inside the vehicle.

Sebastian A. Santana-Garcia, 21, (DOB 1/26/2001) of 2801 Park Center Drive, Apt. C1610, Alexandria, Virginia, was arrested by Officer E. Waldow on March 15, 2022, and charged with illegal transportation and possession of a firearm inside a vehicle.

On March 15, 2002, Santana-Garcia was released by a district court commissioner from the detention center after paying 10% of a $1,500 bond.

Yes, folks, the dipstick district court commissioner, Naja Butler set this alleged gun-toting druggie back on the street for a mere $150 bail bond.  Naja Butler is paid $60,000 annually by the taxpayers of Maryland. Despite a nice government job with benefits, retirement, sick leave, vacation pay, and working in a climate-controlled office, she allowed a dangerous thug to leave jail upon payment of $150.

Butler could have held Santana-Garcia over for District Court Judge Kenneth A. Talley to do the same thing, but she didn’t. Judge Talley is paid $156,000 by the taxpayers to allow thugs with guns to walk free out of jail.

Santana -Garcia is scheduled to appear on July 8, 2022, before the feckless Charles County District Court Judge Kenneth A. Talley, a confirmed nitwit of the bench, who recently let a defendant out of jail after he had been arrested with five guns in his possession.  In a criminal misdemeanor charge in Fairfax County, Virginia District Court on February 11, 2020, Santana-Garcia was charged with failing to appear in court.

Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry cannot find a way to provide photos of the guns that his officers remove from the streets despite police departments across the nation providing the public an opportunity to view the danger that lurks around them and the people who are in possession of those guns.
Why is Sheriff Berry hiding these photos of these dangerous weapons?
