ELECTION 2022: Cast a Vote for Jaymi Sterling

An Experienced, Qualified GOP Woman is Running for St. Mary’s County State’s Attorney

TO THE EDITOR:

Leonardtown resident Jaymi Sterling has filed to run for State’s Attorney in the 2022 Primary election, challenging her former boss, Richard Fritz.

Jaymi worked under Fritz for nearly ten years, rising to the post of Deputy St. Mary’s County States Attorney; she is now employed by the Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a degree from the University of Maryland Law School.

Sterling parted ways with Mr. Fritz after she accused him of questionable financial practices, and he retaliated by claiming she’d filed grievances against him without his knowledge.

Sterling is the daughter of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and First Lady Yumi Hogan.

She desires to make St. Mary’s County a safe place to live and raise a family; she aspires to be a prosecutor who will invoke stiff penalties for repeat DUI offenders, drug dealers, and violent criminals.

2022 is predicted to be a year for a GOP Tsunami at the polls. Let’s make that a GOP Woman Tsunami and start by casting a vote for Jaymi Sterling.

Respectfully submitted,
