Judge Michael White and his son, Maryland State Police Lt. George White operate the Woodville Pines LLC which has been hosting a Garage Poker Series at a Waldorf property owned by the Whites. A regular participant, Todd Fleenor came under investigation by the St. Mary’s Sheriff for his role. Fleenor suddenly retired and threw his hat in the ring for Sheriff against Sheriff Tim Cameron’s designated survivor in the race for Sheriff.

Maryland Orphans Court Chief Judge for St. Mary’s County Michael R. White and his son, a Maryland State Police Barrack Commander, Lt. George White, operate a Garage Poker Series at a property the two men own in Waldorf, Md. A list of those who regularly participate in the gambling operation was obtained by THE CHESAPEAKE TODAY. The names of two St. Mary’s County Sheriff Department Deputies, Steve Simonds and Todd Fleenor, are on the list.
St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron was asked by electronic mail if he was aware that the two members of his agency were participating in the Woodville Pines LLC poker series. He responded that he did not know and ordered an investigation.
Fleenor abruptly retired while under investigation and filed for the Republican Party nomination for Sheriff of St. Mary’s County in the 2022 Primary Election against the Cameron endorsed candidate, Captain Steve Hall.
Judge White is now under investigation by the Maryland Judicial Disabilities Commission. At the same time, the Maryland State Police has stated that George White was cleared by one probe into his conduct, and another review has been ordered.
