OAKVILLE, MD – Maryland State Police report that on April 26, 2023, Maryland State Trooper C. Holder conducted a traffic stop on Loveville Road, Mechanicsville, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, which revealed suspected Crack Cocaine, suspected Suboxone, suspected Tramadol, and suspected Oxycodone. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Patrick Wayne Wood Jr, 21, of Chaptico, MD.

Wood was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail, where he was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis x3 and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia.

ORAVILLE, MD. – The Maryland State Police report that on April 29, 2023, Tpr C. Baden conducted a traffic stop at 11:19 pm, on Three Notch Road (Rt. 235) at Morganza Turner Road, Mechanicsville, MD. Police say that their investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, a 2004 Envoy, was identified as Earl Gwendale Ferebee Jr., 36 (2/11/1987) of 46840 Patuxent Road, Lexington Park, MD, was driving while under the influence and was arrested.

Ferebee was transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail, where he was charged with Illegal Possession of Ammunition, Regulated Firearm: Illegal Possession, Firearm Possession With Felony Conviction, Handgun on Person, Loaded Handgun on Person, Handgun in Vehicle and Loaded Handgun in Vehicle. He was also issued numerous traffic citations for driving under the influence.

Ferebee was released from jail on May 1, 2023, on personal recognizance after a bail hearing before St. Mary’s District Court Judge James Tanavage.

Perhaps Ferebee was celebrating his pending trial in St. Mary’s Circuit Court before Judge Michael Stamm on August 16, 2023, on his indictment by the St. Mary’s County Grand Jury for second-degree child abuse and assault by a custodial person on March 6, 2023. A petition for a peace bond in an alleged case of domestic violence to keep Ferebee away from a petitioner was dismissed on March 13, 2023, when the complainant requested that the request be dropped.

The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police reports that on 4/30/2023, at 1:10 am, Maryland State Trooper D. Black conducted a traffic stop on Three Notch Road (Rt. 235) at Airport View Drive in Hollywood, MD. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, which revealed suspected Cocaine, suspected Crack Cocaine, suspected Cannabis as well as paraphernalia, all indicative of intent to distribute.

The driver of the vehicle was identified by police as Isaiah Kawmi Jones, 34 (DOB 07/07/1998), of 2100 MARTIN LUTHER KING JR AVE, Washington, DC. Jones was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail, where he was charged with CDS Possession With Intent to Distribute, Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis, and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. He was also issued a civil citation for Possession of CDS: Cannabis – Personal Use. Jones was released without having to post bail by District Court Judge James Tanavage on May 1, 2023.

On 5/2/2023, Tpr C. Holder conducted a traffic stop on Three Notch Road at Loveville Road, Mechanicsville, MD. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jarred Owen Deese, 23 (DOB 08/02/1999), of 28754 Burroughs Court, Mechanicsville, Md.
Deese was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail, where he was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia.

Jarred Deese was allowed to post an unsecured personal bond and was released from jail on May 2, 2023, by District Court Commissioner Courtney Towles

On 5/2/2023, Tpr T. Hersh arrested Linda Marie Bond, 28, of 44547 Clarks Mill Road, Hollywood, MD, on an active warrant through the Maryland State Police. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected Crack Cocaine. Bond was transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail, where she was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis and Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia. She was also served her warrant.

  • On 4/26/2023, Evelyn Silvianne Taylor, 70, of California, MD, was arrested by Tpr J. Richards for FTA: Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing on a Public Agency During Business Hours. On October 21, 2015, St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Deputy T. Wesner responded to the 22000 block of Cornwall Drive in California for the report of property destruction in progress. The victim alleged the suspect, Evelyn Silvianne Taylor, 63, of California, allegedly removed a piece of the victim’s privacy fence. The victim also alleged Taylor assaulted the victim during a confrontation. The victim displayed injuries consistent with the allegations. Taylor was arrested and charged with Malicious Property Destruction and 2nd Degree Assault.

    On 4/29/2023, Adrian Cordrell Gray, 33, of Lexington Park, MD, was arrested by Tpr K. Larimer for FTA: Driving without a required license and FTA: Driving while his license was revoked. According to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department, on November 1, 2015, Deputy D. Lawrence responded to the 22000 block of Gloucester Court in Lexington Park for a reported domestic assault. The victim alleged the suspect, Adrian Cordrell Gray, 26, of Lexington Park, struck the victim in the chest with a closed fist during an argument. He then attempted to strangle the victim. Further investigation revealed Gray damaged the television in the living room. Gray was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Destruction of Property under $1000.

    On 4/25/2023, Jamale Lynell Otts, 42, of Clinton, MD, was arrested by Tpr E. Pettyjohn for Violation of Probation: Second-Degree Assault. Theft- On July 7, 2020, St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Dep. Palmer responded to the 22140 block of Three Notch Road in Lexington Park for the reported theft. An investigation determined Jamale Lynell Otts, age 39 of Capitol Heights, entered the store and purchased an alcoholic beverage. As Otts was leaving, he was accused of removing two additional bottles not purchased and left the store. The investigation by police determined Otts had previously stolen items from the store on several occasions. Otts was arrested and charged with Theft and Theft Scheme.
