COURT NEWS: Indictments in St. Mary’s Circuit Court By Grand Jury Includes Tyler Allen Paige Dlouhy For Burglary And Assault; Drug And Dwi Raps Are Pending Too

LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – As the crime scene in Lexington Park continues to evolve into more mayhem, court records show that the recent capture of an alleged assailant armed with a knife in 2022 and his more recent arrest for burglary and assault resulted in indictments presented to the Grand Jury by St. Mary’s States Attorney Jaymi Sterling and a warrant for his arrest issued by St. Mary’s Circuit Court Judge Joseph Stanalonis on July 18, 2023.

Court records show that Tyler Allen Paige Dlouhy, 26 (DOB 08/22/1995) of 6115 Queen Chapel Road, Hyattsville, Md, and also with 214 Hummingbird Drive in Lusby and Lexington Park listed as his places of residence in connection with various arrests, was arrested by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Corporal Trevor Teague on July 22, 2022, at a location on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park. The Sheriff’s Department stated in a report that witnesses told Cpl. Teague that Dlouhy grabbed a victim and threatened to stab him with a knife. When the officer arrested Dlouhy, he found that the arrestee was in possession of Suboxone.

The Maryland State Police report that on 6/24/2023, Trooper Holder responded to a single-vehicle collision on Three Notch Road at Rennell Avenue, Lexington Park, MD. Investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, Tyler Allen Paige Dlouhy, 27, of Lusby, MD, was driving while under the influence and was arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed suspected Suboxone and suspected Alprazolam. Dlouhy was transported to the St. Mary’s County Jail, where he was charged with Possession of CDS: Not Cannabis x2, Possession of CDS: Paraphernalia x2, and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest. Court records show that Dlouhy was charged with failure to control his speed to avoid a collision at the intersection of Rt. 235 and East Rennell Avenue just south of Lexington Park.  A trial in St. Mary’s District Court is set for July 25, 2023.

The long history in Maryland courts for Tyler Dlouhy includes two counts of assault placed against him by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Department Deputy S. LeFave was put on the Stet Docket in a plea deal with St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on August 27, 2015, and approved by District Court Judge Christy Holt Chesser.

Tyler Dlouhy was found guilty of two counts of assault in Calvert District Court and sentenced to time served in jail of four days and three years of probation on April 5, 2019.

Marilyn Christiani sought a peace warrant against Tyler Dlouhy on October 25, 2019, which a St. Mary’s District Court Judge ordered. Another peace order in domestic violence was sought by Joanna Turner and approved on the same date in St. Mary’s District Court.  District Court Judge Christy Hold Chesser ordered another protective order against Dlouhy in yet another petition filed by Christiani on July 27, 2022.
