FIGHTING KNIFE

DANIEL ROBERT DORSEY, 18 (DOB 02/13/2006) of 1032 Saint Michaels Road, Mount Airy, Maryland, was arrested by Ocean City Police Officer W. D. Mossop for possession of a fighting knife at 2706 Philadelphia Ave., Ocean City, MD on June 2, 2024 at 12:00 am. Case #:             2024001338

          DRUGS, FIGHTING KNIFE, HANDGUN IN VEHICLE, OPEN CONTAINER, DISTURBING THE PEACE

DAWAUN WESLEY JOHNSON, 23 (DOB 02/22/2001) of 12301 North Old State Road, Ellendale, Delaware, charged by Ocean City Police Officer T. Passarello with a loaded gun in a vehicle, possession of drugs other than marijuana, possession of a fighting knife, loud noise prohibited, open container of alcohol in a vehicle, on June 2, 2024, at 12:00 am at 10 block of 5^th Street in Ocean city. The taxpayers of Maryland will be providing Johnson with a free attorney for his trial on July 11, 2024. case #:2024001340

ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A HANDGUN IN A VEHICLE, DRUGS, DISTURBING THE PEACE, OPEN CONTAINER

DAVONTAY LAMONTE TURNER, 30 (DOB 09/24/1993), of 409 Rudder Lane, Milton, Delaware, was arrested by Worcester County Sheriff Deputy J. Wood on June 3, 2024, on a fugitive warrant in Ocean City, Md.  Turner was held without bond in jail pending a hearing on June 4, 2024.  Charges were placed by Ocean City Police Officer T. Passarello for a handgun in a vehicle, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of drugs other than marijuana, and open container of alcohol, and was held in jail on a $5,000 bond by District Court Judge Gerald V. Purnell.  Maryland taxpayers are once again the chumps as they will pay for a free public defender for this dirtbag.  The arrest took place at 5th Street and Atlantic Avenue in Ocean City, Maryland, at 12:00 am on June 2, 2024.

LOADED HANDGUN ON PERSON, LOADED HANDGUN IN VEHICLE

TAVON THOMAS ANDERSON, 22, (DOB 08/26/2001) of 7506 Acorn Street, Great Falls, Montana, was arrested on June 1, 2024, by Ocean City Police Officer Patrick Schob at 12:00 a.m. at 104 127th Street, Ocean City, Maryland, on charges of a loaded gun in vehicle and handgun on his person. Anderson posted a $5,000 bond and will be expected to show up for trial on July 2, 2024, in Worcester County District Court in Ocean City, which is a heck of a long way from Montana. Anderson may be hiding in the hills of Montana, where he obtained a marriage license in Cascade County in March, and could have a bride wondering why he was at the beach.  Case #:             2024001304

LOADED HANDGUN ON HIS PERSON AND IN THE VEHICLE

DOIMEIRE JAMAAL TRIBBETT-GRAY, 22 (DOB 05/22/2002) of 84 N. Draper Street, Magnolia, Delaware, was charged with having a loaded handgun in a vehicle on June 1, 2024, by Ocean City Police Officer Patrick J. Schob when he was located at 104 127^th Street in Ocean City at 12:00 am.  Tribbett-Gray posted an unsecured bond (meaning he just signed his name and promised to show up for court) and was released so he could talk to a free attorney provided by the taxpayers of Maryland. His trial is set for July 5, 2024, in Ocean City District Court.  Case #:2024001304

DWI, RECKLESS DRIVING

DOMIER KESHAWN BURTON, 24 (DOB 05/2000) of 1011 Spectrum Farms Road, Felton, Delaware, was arrested by Ocean City Police Officer Patrick Schob on June 1, 2024, at 2:54 am while he was operating a Malibu northbound on Coastal Highway at 94^th Street in Ocean City, Md.  Charges for his erstwhile conduct include a smorgasbord of traffic violations with the biggie being driving while under the influence of Alcohol, driving while impaired, speeding, negligent driving, driving DWI with a minor in the vehicle, driving while suspended, failing to have a driver’s permit, kids without seat belts, and all-around failure to do right.

POSSESSION OF DRUGS NOT MARIJUANA, PROCURING / SOLICITING PROSTITUTION, ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF AMMO, POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE LSD / PCP

KATHERINE OLIVIA NEWSOME, 33 (DOB 01/13/1991) of 713 16^th Street NE, Washington, DC, was arrested by Ocean City Police Officer A. Hawkins on charges of possession of a false ID, possession of drugs not marijuana, procure/Solicit Prostitution, Illegal possession of ammunition, Prostitution General, Possession with the intent to distribute PCP and LSK. Case #:2024001322.

Newsome was charged in the case of United States Vs. Katherine Newsome on June 2, 2018, in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, on charges of Sexual solicitation and posted a $200 cash bond for a hearing on July 17, 2018, and failed to appear in court. A bench warrant was issued, and a motion to quash the warrant was filed on August 25, 2020. A notice of non-compliance was issued on June 3, 2024. A Probation show cause hearing is set for June 18, 2024, before Judge Robert R. Rigsby.
