CRIME TOWN DC: Robbers Run Wild in City Set Ablaze by Leftist Politics

District Cops say that Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch apprehended the suspect in a fatal stabbing in Northwest and has now been charged.

On Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:21 p.m., Fourth District officers responded to the 1300 block of Peabody Street, Northwest, for the report of an unconscious person inside of an apartment. Responding officers located an adult male inside of the residence suffering from stab wounds. DC Fire and EMS responded to the scene, and after finding no signs of life, the man was pronounced dead.

The decedent has been identified as 53-year-old Fasil Teklemariam of Northwest, D.C.

On Friday, June 21, 2024, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, members of MPD’s Fugitive Unit took custody of 19-year-old Audrey Miller of no fixed address, from the US Marshals Service upon the completion of the extradition process from Hagerstown, MD. Miller was transported to the Homicide Branch where she was charged with First Degree Murder while Armed-Felony Murder.

This case remains under investigation. Murdered-in-DC-on-April-5-2024: Fasil Mulatu Teklemariam.

The family and friends of the victim raising money to send him back to Ethiopia.

We are deeply saddened and devastated by the passing of our beloved brother, Fasil Mulatu Teklemariam. Anyone who knows Fasil is sure that he was a caring son, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. He left this world suddenly on April 5, 2024, at age 53. Fasil leaves behind a wife and two young children. We are trying to raise funds to send his body to Ethiopia and cover funeral and related expenses. Any amount you give is greatly appreciated. The Metropolitan Police Department reports that an arrest has been accomplished in short fashion in a fatal shooting in Northeast.

On Thursday, June 20, 2024, at approximately 3:21 a.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Hunt Place, Northeast, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a man in the roadway with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene. 

The decedent has been identified as 21-year-old Marcellus Jackson, of Northeast.  

On Thursday, June 20, 2024, as a result of the detectives’ investigation, 32-year-old Antonio Johnson of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed.

ARMED ROBBERY IN MAY RESULTS IN ARREST OF JAMES QUIGLEY IN JUNE

The Metropolitan Police Department reports the arrest of James Quigley, 28, of Northwest DC, in the robbery of an establishment in Northwest.

On May 22, 2024, at approximately 10:40 a.m., the suspect entered an establishment in the 2600 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest, armed with a handgun. The suspect ordered an employee to the ground and then began removing money from the cash register. The suspect fled the scene with money and other property.

On June 20, 2024, as a result of the detective’s investigation, 28-year-old James Quigley of Northwest, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the community’s help to locate suspects and a vehicle in a robbery that occurred in Southeast.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at approximately 12:13 a.m., the suspect vehicle pulled up next to the victim in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast. The suspects exited the vehicle and assaulted the victim. The suspects took property from the victim then fled in the vehicle. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are searching for two suspects involved in a Northwest armed robbery.

On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at approximately 10:43 a.m., in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Northwest, two suspects approached the victim at an ATM with a handgun, while demanding money. The victim refused the commands and the suspects fled in a stolen blue Hyundai. The Hyundai was recovered.

Detectives are also searching for a black Kia Optima, similar to the one pictured below, with Florida license plate 61BTJS in connection to this robbery and the robbery listed below. The suspects were captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the images below:

On June 19, 2024, at approximately 3:15 a.m., three people were walking in the 1100 block of S Street, Northwest, when four suspects jumped out of the Optima and demanded the victims’ property at gunpoint. The victims complied, and the suspects got back into the vehicle and fled. CCN: 24093154
