COWARD CHEWED OFF A WOMAN’S NOSE WHILE HIS DOG TOOK UP FOR THE VICTIM AND DELIVERED CHOW HOUND ASSAULT ON HIS LEGS AND ARM
WALDORF, MD—Even the dog knew his master was a jerk. As the man was busy biting off the nose tip of his ex-girlfriend, Joshua Aaron Carter’s dog began to chew his arm and leg.
Charles County Sheriff Troy Berry reports that Charles County Patrol Officers charged Carter in connection with the violent domestic-related assault that took place on December 15, 2024, at 11:36 pm in a residence on Sherman Road in Waldorf.
Police were called and, when they arrived, found the victim in a hallway with severe facial injuries, and Carter was in a bedroom attempting to prevent officers from entering. Instead of blowing a hole through the door, Sheriff Berry said officers used modern police techniques of de-escalation, resulting in the coward surrendering.
Sheriff Berry said that the investigation of officers determined that it was Carter who chewed off much of the victim’s nose while his pooch mauled his arms and legs. It was unclear from the police report if the dog was given a medal and a big bone as a reward.
The victim was transported to a hospital where she was treated for serious injuries.
Joshua Aaron Carter (DOB 04/21/1993) of 8101 Oakwood Drive, Clinton, Md., was treated at a hospital for the injuries he sustained from his dog and then transferred to the Charles County Jail, where Cpl Tyner charged him with first-degree assault. On December 17, 2024, Judge Patrick Devine ordered Carter to be held at the Charles County Jail without bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 24, 2024.
