OCEAN CITY SHOOTING: leaves one teen shot in rear-end and Colin Heckman in jail trying to raise bail

Raid on hotel room by thugs ends with one shot in the butt; police charge victim

OCEAN CITY, MD. – Remember when Ocean City was a boring place of occasional drunks wandering out into traffic in the dark with dark clothing and being struck and killed?  How about too many brews at the Purple Moose leading to someone being punched in the nose? Mostly it was just sunburn, Thrasher’s fries and lots of great views of young women parading along the boardwalk in skimpy attire resulting in many incidents of eyestrain.

Recently, the news of Ocean City is of dangerous gangs of thugs stomping prone victims in midnight gang fights in the head and vicious kicks in an attempt to inflict death.  In this latest case of a shooting, friends of a Pennsylvania man claim who is currently behind bars on charges of shooting a man are trying to raise bail money.

4 thugs pushed their way into his hotel room and robbed him and his friends.

The friends of Colin Heckman posted the following on Gofundme.com:

“Colin was vacationing in Ocean City MD.  he is only 21 and has a permit to carry.  he thought his permit to carry was good in any state.  4 thugs pushed their way into his hotel room and robbed him and his friends.  he went to his car to try to prevent them from taking it and when they tried to overpower him, he shot one.  he didn’t run away. he waited for the police and he handed over his gun.  now he is in jail waiting on a bail hearing and arraignment for discharging his weapon.  what was he supposed to do against 4 thugs.  stand there and take it?  please help him to get justice and not be used as an example in these troubling times.  he was the innocent here.”
