SOUTHERN MD. POLICE BEAT: Demetri Raymond Gardiner showed off his face tats at the armed robbery of Dash In
UPDATE: Gardiner was nabbed in PG County – where, like so many armed robbers he returned to his lair after robbing a store in Southern Md.
LEONARDTOWN, MD. – It’s going to be hard to miss this guy unless he paints his face with zebra stripes as cops put out the lookout far and near for Demetri Raymond Gardiner. St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron reports that on July 30, 2018, at approximately 7:50 P.M., Demetri Raymond Gardiner, 24, dashed into the Dash In convenience store in Leonardtown and robbed it. Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Julie Yingling told THE CHESAPEAKE TODAY that the robber held up what appeared to be a handgun when he approached the cashier.
Perhaps due to the weird assortment of decorations imprinted upon his face by either a tattoo artist or perhaps when he was run over by a truck and his face plastered into fresh asphalt, Gardiner was quickly identified as the alleged bandit. Maybe the tough guy bought the stick-on tattoos at the Dollar Store. Nonetheless, he now sports a distinctive mug.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking Gardiner’s whereabouts. Gardiner is 5’9” in height, weighs 160 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. Gardiner has an open arrest warrant for armed robbery and assault.
