SHOOTING INVESTIGATION: At approx. at 10:00 pm, officers responded to the 12600 block of Brooke Ln (Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr High School) for a shooting.
The Prince George’s County Police report one person is dead. In a shooting at about ten o’clock p.m. on Friday night, July 12, 2024, officers were dispatched to Wise Junior High School. Once officers arrived on the scene, they discovered an adult male and an adult female outside suffering from a gunshot wound(s). They were both taken to a hospital. The male victim has been pronounced dead. The female victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
